TRAINING COORDINATOR, DCS-ARM SCHLUMBERGER
SEPTEMBER 2006
Organize all the tasks involved in the successful delivery of internal and external
trainings. With input from Area level, I coordinated a yearly training schedule for FEs
and FSs as well as Geoscience employees (from G08 until G11). Also coordinating
the logistics of the training classes, course materials, instructor’s specific requests,
and control of inventory and purchases from suppliers.
RECRUITING, TRAINING & STAFFING COORDINATOR, OFS-ARM SCHLUMBERGER

Provide support in the area of employment, recruiting and staffing for Saudi, Kuwait
and Bahrain. Assist in the search, interview, offer and placement of quality
candidates. As well as:
- Represents Schlumberger professionally at all recruiting activities including
career fairs, university visits, interviews, etc.
- Coordinates career fairs, university visits, etc.
- Act as a first point of contact for new recruits.
- Support candidates through the interview process and keep them informed
along the way.
- Screen, evaluate and conduct reference checks on candidates, maintain
requisitions and advertising databases.
- Keep up-to-date on recruiting requirements, standards and processes for
each of the Business Groups, Segments and Functions.
- Coordinate hiring process of new recruits (including but not limited to preemployment
screening, travel, relocation, effective start date, security
clearances, and visa coordination).
- Support the staffing of new businesses and cross-segment initiatives.
- Organize all assessment sessions.
- Comply with all applicable Schlumberger standards and policies.
- Assist with the coaching and development of new team members.
- Assist with other HR Projects: I was the focal point for the Saudi Aramco
Secondment Program starting 2009. Where a number of Saudi Aramco
employees were assigned in different segments and locations in SLB for the
purpose of training and for a period of 18 months. I have handled the
program from the start back in 2009 and it has been very successful. My
duty was to put together the training program, attend all client meetings to
coordinate the requirements of Aramco for each group of secondees.
Coordinate with our Training and staffing managers worldwide, assigning
slots for each secondee, designing the training guideline for each segment
to meet the timeline and special requests from Aramco, handled the
logistics of the program for the period of 18 months, follow up on the
immigrations and the smooth enrollment and departure for each secondee,
provide client with quarterly evaluations.. etc. Basically everything (nontechnical)
relating to the secondment program was handled by myself,
with the help of Training teams and personnel teams worldwide.
REGIONAL TRANSACTIONS ANALYST FOR BRUNEI AND MALAYSIA, DUBAI REGIONAL
SUPPORT CENTER SCHLUMBERGER

Responsible for the administration of all personnel actions, HR Data reporting and
maintenance in SAP.
- Personnel actions include: hiring, employee documentation, benefits
administration.
- Provide reports to the personnel management team.
- Support line management and personnel.
- Respond to HR queries from employees, Personnel and line management.
- Perform all SAP actions related to the employees of my population: hiring,
promotions, transfers, terminations, suspensions, absences, attendances,
payments, deductions.. etc as required.
