Manage corrective and preventive maintenance of all medical equipment at satellite clinics including safety and functional tests to ensure safety and proper operation for patient use. Prepares and submits monthly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Prepares and submits monthly and annual KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) including annual equipment tier level evaluation that include functionality, clinical risk, and corrective history. Coordinate with medical staff for equipment training including conducting of workshops for proper usage to improve equipment performance and safety. Develop and update policies and procedures for the biomedical engineering department in compliance with JCIA & Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) standards. Review and update equipment and spare parts inventory and PPM scheduling of all medical equipment. Review and update all equipment records including revisions and improvements of formats for reports, checklists, and other forms for corrective and preventive maintenance.
Key Achievements:
• Recognized for exceptional work and contribution to the development and implementation of the JCIA project plan achieving the goal of successful accreditation by the Joint Commission International (JCI) on July 2010.
• Developed 20 policies and procedures for the biomedical engineering department in compliance with JCIA & HAAD standards
• Commissioned departmental operations and documentations in accordance to JCIA and HAAD standards and requirements
• Standardized Medical Gas system according HTM2 standard.
• Minimized expenditures by applying technical skills and industry related cost effective measures reducing operational costs by 25%.

Manage corrective and preventive maintenance of all medical imaging equipment for subcontract client - Al Ain Hospital. Handle all maintenance schedules on G.E. ASSET PLUS Maintenance Management System. Review and update inventory and PPM scheduling. Handle equipment management in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards. Prepare and submit monthly reports of CM and PM to client for review and evaluation of performance.

Manage corrective and preventive maintenance of all medical equipment, fire alarm system, telephone system, and electronic appliances. Evaluate procedures for PPM schedules and update files for existing medical equipment. Evaluate previously condemned and un-repaired patient and medical machines for re-commissioning. Assist facility maintenance on electronic equipment such as CCTV, patient entertainment and fire alarm systems.

• Improved operating efficiency of all STERIS 1 processors
• Reverse engineered a decommissioned AMSCO sterilizer that had continuously failed its BOWIE-DICK test and brought it back to normal operating efficiency
• Deciphered a decommissioned HAMO washer program code and brought to work in standard mode bypassing all its optional features
• Recipient of a special training for maintenance and challenge testing of HEPA filtration systems including Biological Safety Cabinets, Fume Hoods, AHU systems for OT, ICU and Isolation Rooms
