• Monitor and ensure that all materials to be supplied are ordered well in advance of the requirement, and advise the Contracts Administrator - in charge and the Expediter can follow-up to ensure timely delivery of the items
• Check all BOQ in sub-contract packages
• Review and validate sub-contractor submitted progress billings and make recommendation to the construction manager and procurement manager on payment values.
• Assess cost / reconciliation of general contractor-initiated variation orders.
• Attend / coordinate site evaluation meetings
• Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors
• Carry out spot checks on the quality of ongoing works
• Maintain a log of work accomplishment against the BOQ and report the completion percentage to the Scheduler and Project Manager
• Maintain a log of all payments made to the sub-contractor vis-à-vis the Contract price
• Maintain a Variation Order Log of all Contractors and Suppliers with their corresponding cost implication
• Assist the Contracts Administrator-in-charge and ensure that same are facilitated through the Customer
• Check timesheets and manpower for variation orders which are based on manpower rates. For this purpose verify number of workers and equipment used during execution of such VO’s by the contractor
