To manage MEP related site activities, Construction Quality Control management and to ensure on time completion of projects.
Finalising scope of works with MEP subcontractors and negotiation. Coordination with MEP Consultants and in-house Architecture consultants for MEP related deign.
Reviewing and coordination with clients planning engineer for cash flow analysis and site progress planning schedule.
Site inspections, material approvals, reviewing NCRs raised by consultants, identifying long lead items. Preparing presentation to the owner (client). Evaluating MEP and other subcontractors progress invoice and approvals.
Reviewing handing over documents from contractors and final payment approvals.
Coordination with real estate team (in-house) for technical assistance till tenant occupancy.
Design electrical (as per DEWA or ADDC rules and regulations, fire alarm and firefighting drawing (as per the specified format of DCD-Dubai Civil defence) based on the architectural drawings given, advise the interior design team for the required modification/changes to be carried out. Carry out Megger, Live and Polarity tests for the electrical installation. Applying DEWA inspection and coordinate with the DEWA inspection for approval and DEWA meter release. Attend DEWA drawing approval section meetings in case of any special requirements.
Coordination with client and Project manager and HVAC engineer for analyzing for any specific MEP requirements, electrical load, containment requirements and analyzing for any long lead items.
Finalizing the fire alarm and firefighting contract based on the requirements and to meet the proposed design and Civil defense approvals, follow-up for the pressure test reports for sprinkler system and programing for fire alarm, getting Civil defense stamped fire alarm and firefighting certificate, preparing civil defense inspection files, booking inspection date and carry out DCD inspection. Coordinate with the building FM team for the inspection date and notice to other tenants for the mock test/DCD test.
Review Tenders & contract documents based upon the specifications, Estimating, Material take off and preparing quotations for Electrical Installation projects. Follow-up with vendors for quotations.
Scheduling works for Junior Estimators as per the priority works and to deliver on time.
Preparing value engineering ideas for cost saving and making cost list for the same.
Preparing matrix scope of work reviewing specification requirements, BOQ, deviations if any and qualifying in the final submission.
Prepared costing program and cost matrix (pricing format) and updating as per the new requirements.
Maintaining and updating supplier/vendor list for UAE & Qatar regions.
Follow up for the payments receivables, and raising variation orders if any changes due to the site conditions.
Quantity surveying based on tender drawing and shop drawings for cost control.
Reviewing selling quotations and selling BOQs, contract agreement and tender information report before submission
Reporting directly to Estimation & Design manager with MEP cost summary coordinating with mechanical estimation engineers and verifying cost with buildup area by comparing with similar projects.

Estimation for all types of projects (Design & Built, Infrastructure, Industrial projects etc) for UAE, Saudi and Qatar projects.
Designing independently, all type of Electrical related Works from the Tender Drawings to the Shop drawings with specifications based on local authority requirements.
Preparing documents and drawings for submittal to Local authorities for permanent/temporary connection and follow up/discussion with Local authority inspectors for drawing approval.
Co-ordination between suppliers/subcontractors with consultant to comply with specification or any other technical issues for systems like switchgears, fire alarm system etc.
Coordinating with water supply, drainage and AC drawings with Electrical services.
Designing of Structured cabling system (IT) as per Etisalat Fiber to Home (FTH) and follow up with Etisalat Building Inspector.
Arranging material and drawing submittal, site supervision, monitoring staff, provides support for installation teams in different projects.
Preparing the letters correspondence to the clients, consultants, main contractors.
As a fresher, my role was assisting site actives and office support in preparing budget price for tenders.
