Responsible for Group financial reporting (quarterly consolidated financial statements and statutory audits / 26 subsidiaries across MENA)
In charge of technical and complex accounting transactions leading notably IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 implementations but also topics like transactions under common control, shareholders funding
Review and assessment of accounting treatment for all key contracts
Responsible for Board memo on key accounting options and quarterly extensive analytical review
Direct report to VP Finance and Group CFO

Review of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow (commentaries and key schedules including reconciliations)
Monitor and follow up internal audit recommendations and auditors management letter points
Audit Senior Manager at PwC Middle East in Consumer and Industrial Products and Services (CIPS) industry. My main responsibilities include:
o Setting up of audit strategy, supervision of audit work, findings and deliverables
o Planning and project management including budgeting and progress monitoring
o Senior client management including relationship building and fee negotiation
My main client are 4 Groups which issue consolidated financial statements under IFRS
- Air Services supplier (part of Emirates Group)
- Caterpillar dealer
- Global integrated security company
- Visa processing company
Before joining PwC Middle East I was an audit manager at PwC France in the Banking and Capital Market industry. I was also in charge of the project management of of the Transformation Program of the French Firm. This program, made of 10 projects, aims to transform the way people work and behave. Under the supervision of the French Transformation Leader, my role consisted of driving stream leaders to achieve their transformation project upon timeline and without disrupting current operations. Included projects monitoring through dashboards, KPIs set up. As part of the Global firm Strategy, I was also in charge of the coordination of the program with the Global Transformation office based in NYC and the European Cluster to make sure that initiatives were aligned.
As audit manager I have been on a long term assignment at PwC Hong Kong between 2013 and 2015. During that period I was in charge of the coordination of BNP Paribas Group across Asia Pacific. I was also involved in advisory projects (fraud investigation, capital and liquidity requirements across Asia Pacific, proposal for tender in People & Change practice on Corporate efficiency) and in charge of business development initiatives with French clients in Hong Kong. Developed relationships with Senior Management (COOs, CFOs, Head of Risk Management...).
I have also been on short term assignment at PwC New York.
I have also worked two years in the Transactions Services practice of PwC as assistant manager. As such I have conducted and formalised the following financial analysis: trading results, working capital, cash flow, net debt & Business plan review.
