Planning for disease and outbreak control activities and secure funding.

•Providing continuing and final institutional review board reports.

•maintains and updates databases and completes required documentation
•Ensures that all information is current and readily available for reporting purposes
•Responsible for timely collection and review of source documentation for entry into the database
•Responsible for data validation
•Provides support to staff on projects and maintains regulatory documents
•Acts as liaison between Investigators, IRB and grantor agencies
•Collect data and ensure updating and maintenance of databases for reporting purposes
•Validates data before input into system
•Provides support to Investigators Directors and other staff as requested making sure all data is entered in a timely manner for reporting purposes
•Organizes monitoring visits as requested
•Majority of time is spent entering data and ensuring database accuracy
Planning for epidemiology department weekly, monthly and annual activates.
Follow up activates according to the monthly and annual plan for the department
Planning for communicable diseases surveillance system.
Monitoring the surveillance system at central level for notifiable diseases to detect any abnormal health event or epidemics.
Analyze and interpret epidemiological data reporting.
Facilitate training of health professionals on public health surveillance and control
Application Geographical Information system (Health mapper and Arc View)
Strengthening the early warning system and the early for diseases outbreaks & planning for surveillance activities.
Evaluating of surveillance system and communicable disease control interventions.
