Position: Senior Technical Engineer-Infrastructure Duties & Responsibilities
• Report Directly to Technical Manager.
• Coordinates with Shop Drawing Sub-contractor.
• Supervise and manage the AutoCAD Operators producing shop drawings.
• Proposed and solve technical issues and submitting technical queries (RFI).
• Review and Check Shop Drawing for submission as well as the As-built Drawing.
• Coordinates with other Department for Technical Issues.
• Estimate materials for immediate ordering.
• Visiting site time to time for Site condition and Design change. Project
• Report Directly to Construction Managers.
• Coordinates with Shop Drawing Sub-contractor (UPC).
• Supervise and manage the AutoCAD Operators producing shop drawings.
• Proposed and solve technical issues and submitting technical queries (RFI).
• Review and Check Shop Drawing for submission as well as the As-built Drawing.
• Attending Interface Meetings for coordination.
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedule for Manholes.
• Coordinates with other Department for Technical Issues.
• Estimate materials for immediate ordering.
• Visiting site time to time for Site condition and Design change.
• Report Directly to Engineering Manager/Technical Manager.
• Prepare Weekly Report for the Deliverables of Shop Drawings.
• Checking and replying to the comments of the Consultants for Shop Drawings.
• Proposed and solve technical issues and submitting technical query.
• Supervise and manage the AutoCAD Operators producing shop drawings.
• Review and check Reinforcement Shop Drawings as well as the Bar Bending Schedule for conformance to the Contract specification.
• Review and check All Wet Utilities (Storm Water, Foul Sewer, TSE and Potable Water) and Dry Utilities (Telecommunications, EHV&HV, MV&LV, & Street Lighting) Shop Drawings for conformance to the Contract specification and standard details.
• Review and check Highway Shop Drawings including road setting out, road layout, road markings, road cross-sections & cut & fill.
• Review and check Shop Drawings for Surface Water & Foul Sewer Microtunneling.
• Report Directly to the Technical Office Manager and Engineering Manager
• Lead the Technical Engineers and Structural Engineers.
• Prepare Weekly Report for the Technical Manager and Engineering Manager.
- Update Structural Shop Drawing Status.
- Update Subcontractors Shop Drawing Status.
• Review and check Structural Shop Drawings for conformance to the Contract specification & required construction methology.
• Review and check Reinforcement Shop Drawings as well as the Bar Bending Schedule for conformance to the Contract specification.
• Coordinate with the Subcontractors for Shop Drawings.
• Supervise and manage the AutoCAD Operators.
• Replying to the comments of the Design Verification Engineering .
• Report Directly to the Technical Manager and Construction Manager.
• Prepare Weekly Report for the Technical Manager.
- Update Architectural and Structural Shop Drawing Status.
- Update IFC Drawing Status.
- Update Subcontractors Shop Drawing Status.
• Prepare Structural Shop Drawings such as General Arrangement, Reinforcement Plans & Bar bending Schedule both submittal and revisions.
• Prepare Architectural Plans.
• Prepare Proposal Detail for Architectural and Structural.
• Supervise and manage the AutoCAD Operators.
• Estimates Materials for Procurement Department.
• Estimates Materials for immediate Order of Materials such as Concrete Hollow Blocks, Concrete, Screed, and Stone Claddings.
• Estimates the changes of the Architectural plans for IFC from previous revisions to the latest revisions.
• Prepare shop drawings both submittal and revisions;
Plan, profile, Cross-sections and computing levels of utilities for the road project such as:
o EHV Cable Line (Extra High Voltage Cable)
o HV Cable Line (High Voltage Cable)
o SL Cable Line (Street Lighting Cable)
o DSSS Cable Line (Doha Security Surveillance System)
o QTEL Cable line
o ITS Cable Line (Intelligence Traffic System)
• Report directly to the Manager.
• Manage the documents/drawing review process, Internal and External.
• Negotiates with suppliers and clients for pricing of materials.
• Prepare estimate of materials and Bill of Quantities.
• Trainer of AutoCAD 2D.
• Trainer of AutoCAD 3D with rendering and Photoshop.
• Prepare AutoCAD plans for: Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical
• Architectural Designer
• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings
• Supervise and manage the AutoCAD Operators.
