As a member of the Power and cooling team I contributed towards the management and delivery of the
London Underground Works packages with the goal of ensuring that all works comply with all the
management standards and procedures as mandated by London Underground Ltd and ensure
consistency of understanding and delivery, in line with business strategy expectations
• Advise and assist the client with their duties, with regards to power works packages.
• Co-ordinate all Health and Safety aspects of design work ensuring all parties co-operate
with others involved with the project.
• Facilitate good communication between the client, designers and contractors. For
Power works and ensure that the Designers and Principle Contractors liaise during
the design and implementation phases of the works.
• Compile pre-construction information packs regarding all work packages and notify
participating parties and manage the Process for preparation and appropriate updating
of the Health and Safety File
• Responsible for ensuring all the appropriate and Health & Safety File documentation is
compiled on the completion of the works package and London Underground data
updated inline with the new file.
• Assist the Project Delivery Manager/ Availability Manager in closing Incidents and
Planned General inspection findings and prepare and input into the monthly
Expenditure spread sheets inclusive of labour and materials costs.
• Carry out regular compliance audits on site and make any necessary improvements to
the safe working practice.
• Management Of PPE
Directed the provision of critical resources, internal and external to support
the Tubelines Rail. Managed Rail Satiety critical contract and ensured that an
effective service was delivered through audits and performance reviews. Planned and
organised resource requirements for all minor and major projects.
• Organised the provision of advice and guidance on Possession planning,
protection and briefing requirements for all planned and emergency work.
