Duties and Responsibilities:
Assigned to various sites of NATO camps in Afghanistan.
Supervise a group of 10 kitchen technicians in the operation, maintenance and repair of various NATO/ISAF dining and kitchen fascilities, catering and kitchen equipments . Prepare daily technical and monthly reports, execute and perform maintenance schedule and plan to keep equipments in good working condition and effectiveness. Lead and train technicians to keep them motivated. Do order and stock fast moving spareparts and keep maintenance and equipments record on file. Ensure that all equipments are inspected regularly and keep individual records of each equipment to ensure their safety and effectiveness.
Repair and maintenance of various brands of catering, kitchen, bakery and electrical equipments and electrical appliances & laundry equipments, . Rectify faults on cold rooms and commercial refrigeration equipments and various brands of coffee machines and microwave ovens and ice cube makers. Perform all electrical work, new installations, maintenance /troubleshooting of electrical equipment and machineries, and repair of electrical/mechanical apparatus. Troubleshoot, rectify and install building and industrial wiring controls. Make sure work is being done properly and safely. To perform other duties as required.
Repair and maintenance of kitchen and housing fascilities.
Capable of executing and reading electrical plan and wiring diagrams, and computation of electrical loads whenever needed.
Perform minor welding and fabrication and plumbing jobs whenever needed.
