Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review subsidiaries monthly Financial Statements to ensure that the reporting is in compliance with IFRS and the group policies and procedures by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
• Analyze business units performance and provide variances analysis.
• Prepare and participate in the issuing of quarterly and annual financial statements
consolidation (Income statement; Balance sheet; Comprehensive income statement; Cash flow; and owners equity statement) in accordance to IFRS and laws and regulations.
• Engage in the budgeting process and budgeting analysis; identifying financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Participate in preparing monthly; quarterly and annual high level management reports and board meetings concerning the group performance.
• Work close with the external auditors during the process of reviewing and finalizing the financial statements.
• Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
• Responsible for the implementation of the Automated Consolidation method (Adaptive) which was introduced in 2014 by ensuring proper implementation and successful results.
• Training and teaching all new team members along with the current junior members, to make sure all members have knowledge of all job aspects and responsibilities.
• Checking all junior officers' workflows to ensure that all required jobs and cases are performed well with minimal error possible.
• Responsible for the time management of the team to ensure all needed requirements are finalized and reported to the management in a timely manner.
• Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential and maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
