Processing of Mutual Fund applications (Equity and Debt funds) and Private Equity applications with the relevant KYC documents to make it apt for lodgment
Lodgment of the Mutual Fund applications (Purchases, Switches & Redemptions) and Private Equity applications to the fund house through MAS (Metro Account Services) before the cutoff time
Coordinating with the respective Mutual Fund Houses (IDFC MF, Reliance MF, ICICI Prudential MF, Tata MF, DSP Black Rock MF, HDFC MF, Kotak MF, Fidelity MF, HSBC MF, Birla Sunlife MF, Franklin Templeton MF, JP Morgan MF, Principal MF, Sundaram MF etc), Private Equity Companies (ICICI Venture, IL&FS Tara & Indiareit) and MAS to ensure the application lodgment
Providing administrative assistance to the Financial Advisor
Portfolio analysis of the Priority and Preferred customers which includes monitoring of Net Asset Value, Fund Valuation, Profitability, Absolute and Annualized Returns
Sending the investment statements to the customers on a weekly and monthly basis or as and when the requirement arises
Resolving Customer Queries and Customer Service Requirements
Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly MIS in terms of volume of investments sourced in Systematic Investment Plan (SIPs), Systematic Transfer Plan (STPs), Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWPs) and One time Purchases & Maintaining records
Monitoring the Profitability in terms of the Transaction Fee earned
Creating and maintaining master data in the form of MTOD and YTD and reporting the same to the Regional Heads on daily basis
Handling all audit related compliances of the Investment Desk
Master Custodian for the Branch Safe Deposit Lockers
Generating referrals and directing customers to the concerned advisors
Achievement Was awarded Two Months “Summer Fellowship 2005” on the topic “Chennai Public Services Survey” under the Human Resource Department in Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. (IIT-Madras- which is one of the most reputed institutes in India). This was an All India level selection among the MBA students.
