- investigate the cause of mechanical and electrical failures or unexpected maintenance issues;
- adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts and clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work;
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls;
- Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and coolers according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
Internship end 2nd cycle
- Participate in corrective and preventive maintenance;
- Intervention on the production system and make the diagnosis to propose solutions.
Internship end 1st cycle
- Learn concepts related to equipment maintenance;
- Proposal of a preventive maintenance plan based on the FMEA approach for the door thermoforming machine.
