  • September 2011 to June 2012

SECURITY MANAGER Sep 11 - Jun 12 LAKESHORE TolTest Corporation CAMP BASTION/LEATHERNECK, AFGHANISTAN
I managed and supervised a number of security teams responsible for two large Life Support Areas (LSAs) housing Expatriate (ExPats), Third Country Nationals (TCNs) and Local Nationals (LNs), as well as several concurrent large construction project sites both internal and external of the Bastion/Leatherneck/Shorabak (BLS) Military Base. For my external projects, I wrote the Scope of Works (SoW), Site Security Plans (SSPs) and the plethora of associated security plans, procedures and policies, coordinated and submitted all monthly US CentCom Arming documentation, as well as obtaining all appropriate administration documentation for my sub security provider. I planned all personnel movements onto and off Base, utilising my previous standing and reputation of many years' experience within the UK Military in establishing and maintaining very close contacts, liaison and rapport within the Military Force Protection (FP) on BLS. I wrote and implemented numerous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that have developed and enhanced the physical and personnel security, as well as the safety and accountability of our Company/Corporate personnel and LSAs, achieving tangible results.
