- Review and study tender drawing or Issue for Construction Drawing (IFC).
- Prepare Request for Information (RFI) for any conflicts on the tender drawing or IFC drawing to avoid any conflicts prior to site implementation.
- Responsible for creating all Electrical & Low Current System Shop drawing for submission and getting approval from the consultant.
- Regular visit to the site for necessary requirements in Electrical and ELV system layouts in coordination with other discipline (Architectural, Mechanical & Civil groups) for any modification.
Preparing and drafting of electrical and ELV installation details, wall coordination, sections and elevation as per site condition or as per project requirements.
- Prepare detailed site quantities requirement based on the consultants approved drawings.
- Develop drawing as per site condition to ensure any changes on site implementation to be reflected in As-built Drawing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Supervised electrical works on 4 Project Locations that includes 6-Storey/5-Storey/2-Storey Apartment Buildings, Mosques, Underground Water Tank including Elevated Water Tank, Shaded Parking, Warehouses, External and Site works.
• Conducted inspection (RFI’s) on electrical works done on site to ensure quality workmanship.
• Reviewed and checked Material Submittals on electrical items as per BOQ, Project Technical Specification and Standards.
• Reviewed shop drawing for clarification and approval prior to construction.
• Attended monthly meetings with the Client and Contractors and discussed project details, development and suggested more efficient and effective methods and ways on how to increase and improve workmanship.
• Maintained the documentation and filing of RFI’s - Request for Inspection, Material Submittals and Delivery, Site Instruction, and Shop Drawings.
• Properly observed the coordination of work with the other disciplines (Civil, Mechanical and Architectural Works) to avoid conflicts execution on site.
• Conduct snagging including testing and commissioning for electrical works for initial and final hand over of the project.
