During my time at NetMatch I worked on various websites that were created by the company, I mostly worked on connecting the front-end HTML to the C# backend. Having the styling, CSS and Javascript supplied by front-end developers and building the MVC (Model View Controller) backend and connecting that to our backend system (Databases, Travel API’s, Booking Engine, etc).
Most of my work on NetMatch resolved around working with other third party systems and API’s and building a company interface for communication between their websites and the third party systems. These third party systems were providers of Hotel & Flight Data which are used to display accommodations and offers on the websites.
Education:
Software Engineering college degree where I learned to work within teams to build software products through a full development cycle. Starting with analyzing a problem, writing the requirements. making a planning, realizing the production, testing the production and putting it live. Techniques learned include: Java, C#, SQL, PL-SQL, HTML, Databases, SOAP, REST, Webservices, Mvc .Net. Additionally I followed a Game Design & Technology Minor where I learned to work with people from different fields (business and graphic design majors) and applied the same techniques as in my major.
