Duties and Responsibilities: Manage activities concerning with Purchase / Work Orders, Procurement / Contract Agreements for Subcontractors and Vendors regarding construction materials covers Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation, services, equipment rentals and manpower supply.
Typical responsibilities, but not limited to the following, are:
• Managing Vendor/Subcontractor Agreements, including coordination of insurance requirements, bond requirements, and other related documents.
• Issuing Procurement Agreement / Subcontract Agreements, including review of technical proposal, terms & conditions, price comparison and delivery schedules for accuracy/compliance with corporate requirements.
• Issuing Purchase Order / Work Order as per approved budget & technically act in accordance with Project requirements.
• Ensuring Vendor/Subcontractor comply in accordance with Procurement / Subcontract Agreements under major categories are Letter of Credit Terms & Conditions, Advance Bank Guarantee, Performance Bank Guarantee, Retention & Warranty, with focus on timely return of contract documents, appropriate insurance certificates with required endorsements and complete labor compliance documents.
• Supervise day by day activities of procurement personnel’s whom responsible for materials requests, checking inventory, sourcing merchants, requesting for quotations, proposal evaluation and selection, coordinating shipping, goods receiving and delivery for requester.
• Assess / Approves vendor interaction and suspends those relationships / orders if suppliers are overpricing or conducting unfair negotiations while developing contract instructions of terms of sale and build up policies and procedures for procurement clerks.
