Responsible for expanding and developing Hill McGlynn's Facilities Management business in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. During the merger of two previous competitors, attention and focus was placed on improving service delivery to clients. This was achieved through solid & honest communication, building rapport, educating on the current market, and selling a specialist service.

Starting at Hays as a graduate trainee, worked up to Senior Consultant level (MREC qualified) . Promoted to Consultant on the fast track scheme and achieved accolade of being the first person in the team to successfully place a candidate in a permanent role in the first month of employment first month. Duties also included the support of new trainee consultants - including business systems & sales training.

• Carrying out structured business meetings and making presentations when tendering and bidding for new business

Completed page layouts using Quark Express. Gained strong understanding of how the newspaper is formatted. Becoming part of a team who worked together to meet strict, demanding deadlines. Completed four different periods of work experience with the Newspaper, being invited back each time. Achievements included having several layout pages printed in the paper.
'Happy' magazine
London
As a result of work experience with the Daily Express, was recommended to the Art Director of Happy fashion magazine to further develop graphic expertise. Completed two separate placements at the magazine and a summer Internship.

Worked as a team member helping to organise various PR events. This included parties, charity functions, dealing with newspapers and magazines, and the promotion of actual events.

Worked with the producers and presentation team on the HTV children's show "TOP TEN OF EVERYTHING". Collaborated with the producers on agreeing content of the 25-minute live show and arranged "give-aways" for the competitions.
