Controlling the full supply chain department function and evaluating and analyzing day to day functions.(Budgeting, HR and people management)
•Logistics: To establish and implement a total support structure ensuring that we minimize risk, delays and fast release of shipments for distribution of Imports/Exports to Frontier warehouse and internal clients and Concentrate Export to our external clients. Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments. Close liaison with group sales office on yearly and monthly production and sales forecasts. Work closely with relevant Governmental departments to ensure compliance of clearing procedures and smooth co-operations. Management of fuel, clearing agents, in house logistics and concentrate transport contracts. Daily tracking and follow up of evaluation of clearing and forwarding agents in Zambia and DRC. Thus, ensuring a seamless and constant supply of fuel, material, components and equipment to and from site.
•Procurement: To conform to existing policies and procedures and to ensure best practices exist in terms of purchasing, minimize and eliminate risks and fraud, control and improve customer relations, apply anti-fraud and corruption policies, ensure purchase to pay procedures are followed and the continuous application of best business practices are followed. Risk identification, contract review and administration, implementation of KPI’s and making sure that all KPI’s are reached. Thus, ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components and equipment.
•Warehousing: To conform to existing policies and procedures to ensure best practices exist in terms of warehousing, minimize and eliminate risks and fraud, theft. Ensure HSE control and improve customer relations. Risk identification, consolidation of warehousing and distribution. Implementation of KPI’s and making sure that we reach these KPI’s. Thus, ensuring the adequate and safe storage of all required materials, components and equipment.
•Monitor and analyze forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on all supply chain activities.
•Evaluation of processes and procedures and ongoing collaboration with top management to improve supply chain efficiency.
