Promoted from Applications lead to EMEA IT Manager to lead the IT function with team of IT Analysts and Applications Analyst reporting to this role.

1 - Reporting to the Logistics Division IT Manager. In-charge of the IT infrastructure of Al- Futtaim Exel, that consists of more than10 locations in different emirates of the country.
2 - Compilation of necessary data related to IT infrastructure, IT assets (hardware and Software)
3 - Resposible to ensure SLA’s are adhered and remove road blocks and short comings.
4 - Responsible for support of all IT and software related issues in liaison of the IT support services division and the IT Help Desk.
5 - Lead a team of 4 people based in Jebel Ali for Contract logistics SAP support, User administration, IT procurement and any new requirements for the business
6 - First point of contact for any new IT project related to setting up warehouses, cabling, procurement, planning and co-ordination with suppliers and contractors.
7 - Responsible for selection and procurement of IT infrastructure services from different IT service providers
8 - Responsible for planning of expanding the IT infrastructure in line with the company strategies and growth plans.
9 - Responsible for setting up of the company website that works on the B2B methodology. Using the website, third party customers are able to view their stocks and are able to upload information through the website.
10 - Responsible of setting up a third party interface where new customers can integrate their ERP system with SAP using FTP protocol.
11 - In discussion with different new customers in the UAE for the setting up of the IT infrastructure and setting up IT policies in conjunction with the Service Level Agreement.
12 - Responsible of Help Desk administration to the level of follow ups and ensure the service agreements are adhered.

1. Co-ordinate and install from scratch the whole network / IT setup of the facility and office which included procurement of peripherals, co-ordination with the suppliers, contractors and temporary IT staff.
2. To Plan / Coordinate and implement various new IT / IS requirements of CLS Dubai in consultation with IT / IS advisors from overseas CAT Offices.
3. Installation, upgrades, documentation and maintenance of Ethernet backbone, 256 K leased lines to Head offices and branch offices, IP Address administration, application software, structured cabling system, network hardware and network budget.
4. Installation, Operation and administration of Siemens Call Manager and Mailboxes
5. To maintain various telecommunication equipment’s (PC’s, Printers, Telephones etc.) and train users on various aspects.
6. Providing technical support, coordination of projects with vendors, supervise activities of facility staff and 1 remote location.

11. 24 hour on call support for all kinds of Network and software (SAP) related problems.
