As a merchandising manager with SPAR RETAIL W.L.L since March 2018, Central Buyer with Lulu Group international (2011-2016) I have fulfilled my responsibilities with a high level of professionalism and dedicated work ethic. I was instrumental in the planning and implementation of various marketing strategies that helped the store in building a good relationship with its customer base. Examining various market trends, selection of wholesale suppliers, Selection and negotiation of promotions, devising plans to attract potential clients, managing the store personnel and assigning various tasks to them were some of the job responsibilities carried out by me. -Team Management of 4 Assistant Buyers in the Department
-Supplier evolutions before placing any new orders.
-Negotiations with the supplier for Major orders.
-Work out logistical Agreements with supplier for timeframe delivery.
-Maintain and review purchasing, shipping and receiving records.
-Handles Import Purchase (includes sending enquiries, requesting product samples, making order confirmation, monitoring purchase orders, email correspondence, co-ordinate with clearing agents and storekeeper regarding shipment clearing and delivery schedule, applying for duty exemption).
-Daily meeting with the Production Managers for raw materials stocks monitoring.
-Approval of L/C, T/T and payment request for accounts purpose (Local & Imports Purchasing)
-Approval of Local Purchase Orders.
-Expérience in controlling Debtors & Creditors and préparations of debtors & Creditors Out standing
list and reporting to Management

Conducting research via the Internet, catalogues, and trade shows to identify potential suppliers.
Working closely with the warehouse teams and keep an eye on what’s selling and what’s not.
Ensuring that all goods and services purchased comply with the company’s social sustainability policies.
Generating and implementing purchasing strategies.
Managing purchase requisitions and orders.
Preparing purchase orders and subcontracts.
Managing existing vendor and supplier relationships.
 Responding to internal and external supplier inquiries.
Approving bills of payment.
Having meetings with potential suppliers.
 Monitoring returns, damage replacements, and warranty claims. Coordinate with the production & quality Department for technical issues.
