• Review the contractors schedule to perform the MEP engineering activities in logical steps and budget time and resources required to meet deadlines.
• Study contractors MEP engineering specifications to determine appropriate construction methods, alternative analysis and implementation plans.
• Review MEP engineering work to monitor compliance with building specifications, safety codes and other regulations.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site which include overall risk management actions.
• Confer with contractors to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
• Communicates with Technical departments and Consultant staff to determine problems and recommend solutions. Ensure timely preparation of various progress and cost tracking reports.
• Present reports to management and client as required.
• Monitor and analyse reports on scope, quality, cost, and time to determine if the project is on track.
• Follow up with relevant parties for corrective, preventive and defect repair actions.
• Gather and store documentation for claims management.
• Coordinate with design, QA/QC, HSE and procurement teams on construction and progress aspects for assigned area.
• Liaise with project parties and client for critical decisions as required.
• Provide appropriate inputs to all contractors in related to MEP construction and engineering at assigned project site.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Commissioning, Operations and maintenance:
Knowledge of data sheets, instrument drawings, I/O wiring diagrams, P&IDs, calculation and specifications
Calibration, inspection and maintenance of major field instruments including temperature
indicators and transmitters, control valves (I/Ps, positioners), pressure transmitters, regulators, gas detectors, PRV, level indicators, solenoid valves, pressure and temp. gauges, recorders, SMART transmitters from handheld HART communicator, etc…
Loop checking as per required performance specifications and ISO 9001 Standards.
Preparation and maintaining of calibration data sheets, history records, preventive and
shut down maintenance schedules as per ISO standards.
Troubleshooting and servicing of paging systems in the platform.
Identifying and rectifying the problems with shutdown panels
Periodic safety checks of all instruments in the field.
Checking and servicing of fire & gas and smoke detectors, etc.

Carried out calibration and servicing various types of Process Control and Security System
equipment for Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Marine, and other Utility Industries.
Calibration, Installation& Commissioning of instruments like Level controllers, Vibration
sensors, Process Indicators, RTD head units, etc...
Carried out Loop checking of control loops.
Participate in field surveys, site studies, site check-outs and start-ups.
Provide design assistance to instrument engineer in areas of designing new electrical,
instrumentation, control and data acquisition systems.
Handle other minor projects under the supervision of project managers and senior level
engineers
