Division heads, CEO & Board
• Prepare feasibility studies and sensitivity analysis reports for new projects
• Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends for business units, Support functions &
other business-related areas.
• Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as
needed
• Track expenses and revenues vs budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations
• Maintains consistency of the MIS systems, automation processes and data
quality
• Identify expense overrun, trends, areas of inefficiency and waste, and
opportunities for improvement and cost control
• Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
Functional Profile
• Lead the annual business planning / budgeting process for the Division using
COGNOS, ensuring Brand budgets are realistic, stretched, phased & reflect actual
Business potentials.
• Undertake support analyses to facilitate various strategic and tactical business
decisions, including, new entries; new locations; refurbishments; closures & exit
options
• Preparation of variance analysis between budgeted and actual performance
• Monitoring of expenses to be in-line with budgets, conducts cost reviews
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts / projections of revenue and
expenditures.
• Monitor on-going performance to track & report achievements & highlight variances
• Establish robust financial systems to ensure the division has financial control and
to deliver feedback & coaching to the Division where necessary.
• Responsible to deliver accurate, timely divisional and brand reports & analysis.
• Build effective relationships across departments and divisions to ensure financial
statements are accurate and reflect divisional performance.
• Development of ad-hoc management reports as the need arises, as a tool for
decision making.
• Support for monthly & yearly closing - Set up accruals & deferrals for store level
expenses
• Inventory ageing analysis.
• Coordinate & help to fix KPIs

• Monthly and yearly closing of accounts of the export sales office in Dubai.
• Preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Preparation of Balance Sheet schedules.
• Forecasting the Cash & fund requirements of the export office.
• Submitting daily and weekly sales report to management.
• Bank reconciliation and monitoring of bank payments.
• Preparing Inter group & Inter company reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Coordinating with the freight forwarders for duty payment & refund.
• Monitoring the LC receivables & coordinating with treasury department for the
timely collection & accounting of the same.
