I) PROJECT:CS MARAM - Cable Laying Vessel
Conversion project of a Russian made ice class vessel. The ship is to be converted into a cable laying vessel with DP-2 capability. The vessel is 127-meter long. CS Maram will be the first cable laying vessel of its size to be built in the Middle East. Furthermore, she holds the distinction of being a cable layer as well as a cable repair vessel. The vessel is classified by RINA and is SPS 2008, Green plus compliant.
My responsibilities include:
a)Lead the delivery of the cable laying vessel (CS Maram) within the delegated authority of the project management framework by controlling interfacing with shipyard (Ali & sons), Client(E-Marine), designers (Aries Marine) and third party inspectors like classification society (RINA) and Owners Representative (Wartsila Ship Design) with severe constraints on time and contractual requirements.
b) Develop & maintain project documentation for delivery of the project.
c) Liaise with estimation and invoicing team to prepare variation orders and initiate action on all contractual issues.
d) Follow up with the yard production team on all key issues for matching planning schedule and delivery.
e) Manpower management and material management.
f) Maintain database of project & handover documents.
g) Cabling, Installation and Commissioning of Integrated Bridge System, Gyro, Speed log, Echo-sounder, BNWAS, Navigation lighting, DP II, Hydro graphic Echo sounder, Global Acoustic Positioning System(IX Blue), Talk Back System, Sound Powered Telephone System, PA/GA System, Auto Telephone System, Whistle System, GMDSS, Navtex, V-SAT, FBB, TVRO System, CCTV system, Alarm Monitoring System, Voyage Data Recording, Main & Emergency Switch Board(690V, 440V&220V),

J) PROJECT:14mtrs boat for UAE coast guard
