-The purpose of the Area HR Coordinator is to implement NRCs HR systems and
procedures for the Syria Response Office (SRO) in its area of operation
•
The HR Coordinator works under guidance of the Area Manager to fulfil the
objectives in accordance with NRCs mandate and country specific strategy
•
The main objective for the Coordinator is to manage and develop the Human
Resource team, facilitate growth in staff, and ensure high quality performance
management throughout the office
•
All in compliance with NRCs policies • and procedures

HR Administrative management:
•Support the Regional HR team to ensure the availability of all HR related policies, MOS, SOPs, checklists and guidelines, HR Forms etc for the Regional / Country HR teams
•Support in updating the regional office data such as personnel folders, contact details, HR trackers, etc.
Recruitment & Selection
•Supporting countries especially where capability is low, in the end to end recruitment process for international and other key senior national positions
•Providing support in reviewing JDs to ensure compliance with Save the Children International format, supporting the preparation of adverts and liaising with Save the Children International centre for posting in internal and external jobsites
•Providing support to shortlisting and interviews and ensuring child safeguarding standards are met during the process
•Support the Regional HR team and other countries as needed in preparing international offer packs
Learning & Development:
•Supporting in organization of trainings and preparing and updating the Regional Training Calendar
•Support the Regional HR in planning, coordinating and implementing regional training programs such as the Senior Management Development Program, Managing for High Performance Programs and technical training in the region.
•Be responsible for the Learning Management System for the regional team and act as a focal point for the region and the Center.
