Full time Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory staff nurse position 45hrs/week (7:00 am to 4:00 pm) with flexibility. Primary duties are to scrub for the interventional cath cases, remove sheaths (venous, arterial), and Cath lab rotational on call duties. Procedures include: Diagnostic Peripheral and Coronary Angiography, Pacemaker and ICD implants, basic EP. Assist procedural Physician during performance of pacemakers and ICD insertion, PTCA and Diagnostic left/right catheterizations. Experienced with moderate sedation and have a calm demeanor and ability to manage stressful situation

PRINCIPLE DUTIES
•Provide comprehensive, holistic and quality nursing care to all patients admitted in ICU
•Perform a full physical assessment
•Performing arterial stabs for blood gas analysis
•Managing and monitoring patients regarding
•Intraventricular catheter
•Management of patient on enteral feeds and total parenteral nutrition
•Nursing patients with renal failure
•Monitoring patients on high dose of inotropes
•Perform 12 lead electrocardiogram
•Administration of blood and blood products
•Nursing and weaning of patients on large dose of inotropes
•Managing patients with chest drains and continuous suctioning
Procedures:
•Oral /Nasogastric insertion
•Foley’s catheter insertion
•Peripheral IV cannula insertion
•Blood extraction
•ABG blood sample taking
•Defibrillation
Type of cases dealing with:
•Oncology Patients
•Respiratory Failure, Septic Shock
•Post Operative cases (lapratomy, Crainiotomy, , , ETC.
•Renal Failure, Diabetes, HTN, Heart failure and pulmonary edema.
