Technical Responsibilities
• Implementation of Company in-house Lifting Standards / Code of Practices & procedures at all sites as part of Company LMS (Lifting Management Strategy) document and other approved Standards.
• Ensure all lifting operations are carried out in accordance with Company LMS standards, HSE procedures including Projects, Contractor-items at Onshore Locations.
• Assuring all critical lifting activities have a plan, are approved prior to work commencement and necessary documentation (checklist, risk assessments) are in place as per the LMS.
• Verification/Thorough Examination of Mobile Cranes such as Truck-Mounted Crane, All Terrain Crane, Crawler Crane, Rough Terrain Crane, and Lorry Loaders, Industrial Forklifts.
• Verification/Thorough Examination of Tower Crane, Electrically Operated Overhead traveling Crane, Slewing Jib Cranes and Davits.
• Verification/Thorough Examination of Runway Beams.
• Verification/Thorough Examination of Hand Powered Equipments such as Chain Block, Lever Hoist, Winches, beam trolleys, Snatch block and Hydraulic Jacks.
• Verification/Thorough Examination of Lifting Gears such as Wire rope sling, Shackles, Hooks, Sheave blocks.
• Assessment of all Lifting Equipment and Heavy Equipment Operators.
• Ensure that the job order meet the requirement needed, based on code, standard, or recommendation applied, so that the lifting equipment is carried out in a safe manner.
Managerial responsibilities:
• Assisting the Inspection manager for implementing the Company’s Quality Assurance procedures and maintaining the Quality Management System in accordance with the Project Quality Plan.
• Conducted first party audits (Internal audit) in accordance with the audit plan and standard operating procedures and quality policies.
• Communicated audit results to the top management through written audit reports.
• Participate and follow-up on any necessary corrective and preventive actions to close the non-conformity (NCR).
• Documentation of log books such as Customer complaints, KPI, Customer feedback, and calibration records
• Register and distribute the quality manual, quality procedures and quality records by using Master link of documents and quality index.

Focal coordination point between the Client, Vendors and the company’s inspectors, out port offices and associates, Responsible for managing and ensuring the successful completion of the inspections jobs like Visual Inspection, Fit up and Dimensional inspection, surface preparation inspection, Hydrostatic/pneumatic test & FAT test, NDT inspection and Mechanical tests against the applicable specification like ITP, project specification & international standard of petrochemical industries and oil & gas projects undertaken in UAE and various countries across the world.
Based on a strong communication basis, the accountabilities and duties include but not limited to:
• Discussing scopes and requirements of the Projects and Inspection works with the clients.
• Effective utilization of manpower in order to increase the productivity.
• Preparing and submitting Coordination Execution Plan.
• Nominating adequate inspectors according to the inspection work nature and its requirements.
• Following up the works for expediting, and ensuring that implementation of activities is progressing in compliance with the planned schedule.
• Ensuring the projects requirements are effectively applied, and scopes are maintained.
• Coordinate all site inspections.
• Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken
• Review all inspection reports for compliance.
• Ensuring the full compliance with the project’s individual specifications and procedures, applicable International standards and codes during all the stages of the works.
• Reviewing the technical reports and documents issued during each work to ascertain the work complies with the project requirements before submitting to client, and highlighting the problems and non-conformance cases to the client.
• Attend Vendors clarification meetings.
• Verifying the financial documents, and reporting the works status to the company’s management.
• Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and the customers contract specializations.
Document Control:
• Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.
• Maintain and file completed assignment document with various Clients/ sub-contractor.
• Maintains Coordination Department’s file, organize and archive
• Other duties as assigned.
