As the Tobacco industry is highly regulated and closely overseen by authorities, my role is to develop business approaches to meet the challenging business targets.
The main objectives of the position I am currently holding are to improve efficiency, accuracy, volume and performance of all Trade KPI's.
Along with the BD Team, we are striving for "Excellence in Design and Execution" everyday.
The fast changing Tobacco business environment demands to be alert and aware of the trends, legislation, pricing, innovation and Brand performance.
The experience of the role BDM CMI, has helped tremendously in developing and accepting new and completely different ways of business, embracing the diversification of three completely different markets and develop specific, custom-to-fit, programs, activities, initiatives for each one.
Moreover, the exposure to various nationalities work groups assisted in acquiring the depth of knowledge and experience required to adjust to the demanding role.
Trade programs development, competition monitoring, budget management, engagement with key stakeholders are only a few of the day-to-day challenges I had to cope with to assure the smooth business continuity which led to the overall objectives reaching.
As a Brand Manager I was entrusted with the development of the yearly Brand Plans for the non-alcoholic portfolio of PPD such as SHARK Energy Dring, Agros Mineral Water, Blu Sparkling Water, ENA juices.
Each Brand had different marketing and volume objectives hence the marketing campaigns should support their image and be relevant to the target groups.
Especially SHARK Energy Drink, and its implication with Austria and Thailand, has helped me grow as a marketeer and gain a comprehensive knowledge of the requirements and needs of a true global FMCG.
