• Develop systems/machines/components concepts and design baseline for new upgrade of current equipment that are to process current or new products
• Design, fabricate and build prototype tooling and fixtures in support of equipment or process improvement initiatives; provide technical documents as necessary
• Explore new technologies to enhance current equipment capacities or processes that will leverage the company’s CQD
• Perform commissioning/equipment integration and conduct operator’s training with regard to the equipment operation
• Support engineering build request (EBR), and quality build request (QBR)
• Coaching and Mentoring to EDAP and OJT personnel which is one of the objective of Technical Development Department
• Provide effective response to equipment issues requiring repair and troubleshooting to improve equipment availability performance
• Perform equipment set-up procedures to achieve target uptime
• Coordinate and cooperate with other VS engineers issues concerning equipment performance
• Provide other equipment support activities to manufacturing by ensuring high equipment effectiveness and availability
• Conduct regular audit on assigned equipments to ensure operation efficiency and safety
• Perform regular preventive maintenance activities and monitoring of machine set-up of assigned equipments for optimum performance and safety
• Interface with service providers on matters related to equipment maintenance wok and equipment projects
• Implement yield and cost reduction projects
