Egis is an international group offering engineering, project structuring and operations services. In engineering and consulting its sectors of activity include transport, urban development, building, industry, water, environment and energy.
In roads and airports its offer is enlarged to encompass project structuring, equity investment, turnkey systems delivery, operation and mobility services.

Egis is 75% owned by the French “Caisse des Dépôts” and 25% owned by Iosis Partenaires, (a “partner” executive and employee shareholding).
Employing nearly 14, 000 people, the group generated a managed turnover of €1, 020 billion in 2016.

Handling a portfolio 4 subsidiaries in the : International Water, Industry/Energy, Harbor/Port and Building activities, my current work is to:

- Analyze the legal conditions for bidding : France and International, public and private, by reviewing the contractual risks, the obligations related to the project, and the local legal constraints;

- Draft contracts in public and private markets: Plant and Design-Build, EPC/Turnkey projects, PPP, International contracts (including FIDIC and NEC3), while proposing concrete actions;

- Implement related agreements: confidentiality agreements (NDA), MoU/MoA, teaming agreements, amendments, subcontracts, ..;

- Negotiate alongside operational, with customers (public and private markets, France and International), partners (project management contractors, technical consulting firms, law firms, ...), and subcontractors;

- Manage pre-litigation and litigation activities: interface with external parties (lawyers, experts, insurances), legal support on litigation with suppliers and customers, disputes with contractors, assistance in drafting the relevant claims where appropriate in the context of amicable and judicial expertise.

Junior Legal Counsel at Airbus Defense and Space (Astrium SBC)
