- Planning, supervising conducting, and assuring the quality of over 160 electronic, telephonic and field surveys. This lead to saving over AED 5, 000, 000 for over 30 governmental departments. Customer’s satisfaction index for opinion polls services was over 84% for 2 years in a row.
- Analyzing and preparing reports and presentations of the results of over 15 surveys.
- Setting up a methodology for pricing opinion polls. This methodology was based on local and international best practices as well as cost analysis principles.
- Leading the coordination and supervising quality assurance in a joint project between Dubai Statistics Center and the Executive Council of Dubai titled “Dubai Government Customers Satisfaction Index”.
- In addition to my role as an opinion polls specialist, I was assigned to supervise conducting ISO 27001 in Dubai Statistics Center. This included supervising the implementation, conducting internal auditing and coordinating external certification audit. We were awarded the certification by BSI and it was handled by the British General Council in Dubai Mr. Edward Hobart.
1. Leading team member in qualifying Dubai Statistics Center to win Dubai Government Excellence Award- Employees Satisfaction, 2011 and win DGEP- Excellence Appreciation Category, 2009.
2. Establishing, implementing, training, auditing and supervising external surveillance audits for ISO 9001:2008 quality management system. DSC was the first statistics center in the world to be certified in this field.
3. Establishing, implementing, training, auditing and supervising external surveillance audits for ISO 14001:2004 environment management system. DSC was the first statistics center in the world to be certified in this field.
4. Leading member in “Government Departments Surveys Team”, a team dedicated to conducting surveys for more than 30 governmental departments in Dubai. Up to April 2012, the team has supervised conducting 20 surveys.
5. Primary member in “Dubai Strategic Plan Execution Management System Team”, a joint project between DSC and The Executive Council of Dubai, its objective is to establish an e-system to manage strategic plan objectives, initiatives and monitor indicators for different sectors.
6. Essential Member in “Dubai Strategic Plan Statistics Requirements Provision Team”, another joint project between DSC and The Executive Council of Dubai, its objective is to supervise providing thousands of indicators to be used as an input to Dubai Strategic Plan 2020.
7. Leading member in “DSC Satisfaction Surveys Supervision Team”, this team supervises conducting and results analyzing of DSC interested parties surveys: customers, human resources, society, suppliers and partners.
8. Principal member in “Income Sources and Feasibility Team”, preparing full feasibility study for possible income sources for DSC
1. Establishing, implementing and auditing ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:2008 in various governmental and private organizations
2. Establishing, implementing and auditing ISO 14001:2004 in two different governmental organizations.
3. Conducting 10 feasibility studies and preparing 3 business plans for different industrial, commercial, agricultural and touristic projects.
