• Project managing the installation of 2 x Nuclear Reactor Pressure Vessels on the largest complex projects in UK
and Europe
• Lead Project Manager on the delivery of £16M scope, Inspection Qualification of Inspection Systems and Personnel to support the on-site Pre-Service Inspection activities on Nuclear Reactor.
• Define work scope to be delivered within the contract and interfaces.
• Assist in securing strategies and plans in line with the overall programme execution, setting out how the programme of work will be managed, organised, and executed.
• Maintain effective communications with all Stakeholders.
• Drive the delivery of the contract or package activities to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and meeting business & technical requirements.
• Monitor and manage the progress of the programme, track progress against milestones, deadlines, budget and provide key stakeholder reports on these matters.
• Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues within the contract.
• Identify risks and facilitate the resolution of all issues raised, develop, and update the programme budget, and escalate any issues.
• Outline and execute strategic risk avoidance and mitigation plans to keep projects aligned with objectives.
• Ensure that lessons-learnt and are captured and integrated into business as usual.
• Control expenditures by regulating change requests and project activities to decrease overruns and delays.
• Communicate progress updates to various stakeholders to secure further funding for project activities.
• Manage client expectations with a professional approach to projects.
• Attend daily/weekly/bi-weekly and monthly meetings on all levels (on site, Microsoft Teams, Vendor sites in Europe).
