Commissioned by a friendly client to design and execute a medium sized villa in a mid-mountain village.
Coming from abroad, the client wanted a contemporary touch to be included while maintaining the traditional arabesque aspects. The interplay between old/new, the integration with mother nature, as well as view and natural lighting preservation made it an interesting project in the area.
Three months of internship loaded with experience.
Started with 2D-3D visualization of interior spaces for a real client until completing the task passing by the on-site application of the renders.
In this internship, my task was to provide a villa design in the city of Dubai.
Working for the first time on a project that is away from my education country, it gave me the opportunity to have a look at the UAE Rules&Regulations as well as the local taste in architecture.
Furthermore, I was following up with the project manager who, from his side, provided me with constructive criticism that helped me advance in my career.
Worked twice in this Beirut based company, and twice on ones of the biggest project happening in Beirut city, it gave me the opportunity to explore construction details that were not provided in my education.
Being on-site, is indeed was an important phase in my education since as Architects, architecture and design works hand in hand to complete each other.
