Department: Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all workers have undergone a safety induction before commencing their individual works.
- Ensure the HSE programs and procedures are communicated and understood by all on-site personnel and lectures given through
safety induction, training programs & safety toolbox talks.
- To ensure that work activity is effectively managed and controlled as per the client standard
- Identify hazards & rectify unsafe conditions & unsafe acts.
- Conduct daily site inspections & document relevant observations.
- Conduct inspection for identification and correction of unsafe acts and unsafe condition.
- Monitoring and implementation of PTW system, risk assessment, safety procedure, safety rules and regulation
- Administer first aid in the Site.
- Preparing Risk Assessments based on the Method Statements of all activities to be done on the project.
- Oversee company HSE policy, goals and objectives, procedures, HSE programs, safety audits, safety formats & checklists, Risk Assessments for all activities, Safety Inspection, Investigation of Accident and near misses.
- Ensure that all electrical power operated tools are properly earthed and maintain regularly.
- Coordinating on all HSE related matters and concerned with HSE Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator & Site Supervisor.
- Ensuring that all procedures and data pertaining to the hazardous substances are available (MSDS) and that necessary precautions are observed when transporting, storing and handling.
- Conducting Safety Induction/Orientation & Toolbox Talks.
- Conduct daily site inspection and document relevant observation
- To ensure that all equipments, machinery, lifting devices, if they had certificate and they meet the safety regulation.
- To ensure that HSE is effectively is effectively manage and controlled as per the client standard and requirements.
- Carry out safety inspection at work area to ensure if they are following the method of work and procedure.
- Promote fire safety, crane safety, construction safety, etc.
- Administration of our company’s Safety and Loss Prevention program.
- Conducting site safety orientations and weekly safety meetings.
- Conduct incident/accident investigations and make recommendation to avoid recurrence.
- Providing advice on local health and safety issues.
- Make daily reports regarding the issues that was present in site that are need to be fix and submit it to the project Engineers for immediate action
- Reviewing and analyzing injury and incident reports and data.
