Carry out assigned Operational work safely to assigned standards in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Carry out routine checks on equipment for abnormalities to report defects noted in equipment and coordinate with the reporting supervisor to arrange for servicing.
Adjust and monitor the alternations of speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates as necessary to ensure that shutdown and start-up operations are effectively performed.
Prepare the plant / equipment for maintenance to ensure accurate and proper functioning and in synchronization with other equipment and plant.
Receive chemicals, maintain the stock/consumption register and prepare chemical batches required for the process ensuring adherence to procedures and while following all HSE procedures and rules.
Operate related machinery & equipment safely and efficiently as per Company’s standards and instructions.
Obtain work permits, follow up on-going jobs and monitor Contractors activities ensuring adherence to safety regulations and procedures
Carry out duties as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer as and when required during emergencies, as per the Facility Response Plan
Communicate and follow instructions of the Supervisor to carry out duties efficiently and safely.
Prepare various key Performance Indicator commitment checklists for management perusal. Manage day-to-day operations activity of assigned plants to ensure their error free and reliable operations. Ensure that performance targets met and plants are operating efficiently and safely. Act as area authority while enforcing permit to work system.
Monitor and record all equipment and plants to ensure continuous production in 24/7 basis. Ensure that the equipment and plants are running within design parameters complying with OEM recommendations and warranty conditions. Monitor and control all activities within the area of responsibility to ensure compliance with SOP and QHSE guidelines. Prepare equipment and/ or facilities for maintenance and inspection activity. Submit an activity report and plants status report to operations supervisor on daily basis. Control critical situations, emergencies and incidents to eliminate safety threats, minimise production losses and reduce environmental impact. Monitor the performance of contractors, suppliers and other services providers to ensure that the expected service quality is delivered. Monitor plant efficiency, reliability and other key Performance indicators, highlight areas that of concern. Conducting tests and inspections of equipment to evaluate quality or performance..
Ensure the safety and smooth operation of the Chiller plant.
Monitor and control the chilled water flow-rate, supply temperature, Return Temperature, Pressure etc.
Proper monitor of the cooling tower entering and leaving temperatures, wetbulb, Drybulb temperature to prevent high Compressor lift and Surging thereby ensuring the Condenser safety. Etc
Ensure all ETS supply and Return temperatures are within the range of clients demand and TES tanks are in good condition.
Adhere to all laid down safety rules and practices.
Ensure there is no tripping of the Plant by monitoring, adjusting, and controlling all plant variables according to the plant design.
Ensure /Maintain Plant Efficiency of less than 1 and Water consumption less than 2.
Maintain proper readings and log sheet daily.
Make daily, weekly, and Monthly Reports according to the Maintenance schedule. etc
Ensure the Leaving and Entry Temperatures of the Evaporators, Condensers, and Cooling Towers are maintained within the Plant Design/Specifications.
Proper monitor of the Full Load Ampere (%FLA) of the Plant.
Ensure minimum Blowdown.
Controlling the converter and auxiliary equipment that combine hydrogen and nitrogen to produce anhydrous ammonia
Lighting burner and starting pumps, compressors, scrubbers, and absorption units
Moving controls on panel-board to regulate temperatures of solutions and opening valves to admit heated and purified air and hydrogen into combustion chamber of burner
Reading the instruments, such as thermometers, pressure gauges, and potentiometers
Making control adjustments according to operating instructions and charts
Pumping fresh solutions into scrubbing and absorption towers when readings indicate excessive alkalinity
Recording operational data in logbook.
Monitored production process and process variables such as temperature, volume, pressure, and flow of fluids to feed lines of boilers, furnaces/heat exchanger using The SCADA System in Urea and Ammonia Plant.
Troubleshooting and inspections of ammonia industrial refrigeration plants. Commissioning and start-up support of ammonia industrial refrigeration plants.
Troubleshoot and solve mechanical, electrical and refrigeration issues in the plant.
Perform daily recordkeeping and inspections including preparation of appropriate reports as required. Performing daily water testing on all evaporative water condensers to ensure water conditions are within specification. Ensure correct adjustments and repairs are completed to maintain optimal efficiency. Experience in working safety/evacuation planning and training implementations.
Assist in the Preventive Maintenance Program using work orders issued by Supervision and documenting work performed on equipment to maintain in operation;
Adjustments of equipment in a Safe Manner as needed during production;
Familiar with start-up and shut down processes in production plants;
Lock out / tag out process to isolate equipment prior to working on unit;
Establish schedule for the replacement of parts without disrupting process unless repair cannot be performed safely;
Have good Knowledge of Compressed Air and Ammonia refrigeration systems.
Knowledge of Utilities Water Chemistry
Knowledge of environmental policies ( TCPA)

Continuously monitored the DCS parameters to maintain the plant at high efficiency and maintain the product quality without any deviation.
Have good knowledge in ESD logics, DCS logics, trip actions and flare operations.
Have good experience in the operation and ESD of the Turbine driven (Type-7EMXL-7DF)
Centrifugal Compressor (160 bar) with separate ITCC system and high pressure multi stage Centrifugal pumps and in Flare Operations
Have good knowledge in Flushing of the lines and loops, Vessel internal inspection, System dry-out, Inerting, Motor solo run test, Systematic Conformity check of equipments, PSSR Walk down, Reviewing of Flushing plans and Updating the documents.
Undergone OTS Training in Centum VP regarding the Startup of the model, Configuration, Operation of the model, Monitor, Triggering Malfunction in OTS, Evaluated the trainees’ performance, Startup and Shutdown of the plant from the OTS.
Undergone a process oriented Technical Training in Centum VP DCS regarding the technical aspects of the Urea Plant.
Experienced in reading, understanding, and interpreting P&IDs, PFDs, SOPs, Equipment Data Sheets, Piping Specifications, Instrument Data Sheets, and Preparing Material Balances.
Collaborated with plant operations to troubleshoot process and equipment performance
Ensure all equipment are operating efficiently and properly.
Take samples Readings and chemical testing to ensure that Products are on Spec.
Checks on the Process and identified all dangerous and safety hazards in the Plant.
