Assesses physical and psychosocial needs of patients and make appropriate nursing interventions, assist physicians and healthcare practitioners with examinations, treatments and other procedures.
•Educate and counsels patients and their families on procedures, medical care and sensitive health issues, including need for follow up.
•Obtains and prepares a variety of specimens for laboratory analysis, administers medication and immunizations, performs special treatment such as wound care, catheterization, etc.
•Prepares and maintains a variety or pertinent records reflecting patient condition, medication, treatment, and other record requirement
•Provided Laser hair treatments by using ND YAGand Alexandrite machine
•Effectively evaluated clients based on the Fitzpatrick scale and determined appropriate laser settings
•Operation of medical equipment e.g. LPG machine (ultrasonic massage), Accent Laser (high radio frequency)
General ward and Emergency Room
Nursery/ NICU
•Rendered routine newborn care (gastric lavage and gavages, suctioning)
•Monitor vital signs/ intake and output, report any changes and abnormality
•Prepare patients and assists doctors in diagnostic or therapeutic procedure
•Prepare patient for discharge and rooming in give health teachings
•Operation of different medical equipments e.g. photo-therapy, pulse-oximeter, apnea monitor, infusion pump, incubator, glucometer, radiant warmer, suction machine, nebulizer, ventilator, I-stat, bilicheck
