To provide on-site coordination for all phases of multiple construction projects in compliance with civilian and military standards, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
- Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.
- Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.
- Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
• Ensure proper steps and procedures are taken and that work is completed as planned, budgeted, and scheduled
• Ensure production of construction documents is in compliance with the design of project
• Communicate with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants and other disciplines to ensure project details are carried out.
• Initiate and maintain contact with other key project individuals for coordination and negotiation of critical issues.
• Provide technical support and solve complex issues.
• Supervise the production of design documents and construction documents
Providing quality case management to Welfare-to-Work program participants to ensure they move from government assistance to self-sufficiency, with focus on (but not limited to) the following:
• Provide Interpretation (Arabic/English) to our Middle Eastern clients.
• Determine eligibility and need for supportive services including child care, transportation, and ancillary services.
• Follow procedural requirement of CalWORKs by updating client case files in CalWIN.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources, labor market and training resources.
• Maintain communication with employment organizations and educational programs where CalWORKs participants are located.
With duties including but not limited to:
•Responsible for project functions included but not limited to Project Management, Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement, Construction Management, etc. are all coordinated and properly staffed to meet the project(s) goals.
•Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s).
•Coordinate and communicate projects group as needed on major projects in the Region.
•Coordinate with regional and site management on status, significant trends and changes of approved projects.
•Ensure safety and QA/QC programs are established by all parties and maintained and conduct reviews of detailed design drawing and specifications.
•Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.
•Participate in and lead risk assessments and actively manage the risks of the projects and the business.
Prepared contracts and negotiated any revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
•Interpreted and provided clear explanation of plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, giving clear representation of the owner and developer.
•Inspected and reviewed all projects to monitor and ensure compliance with building and safety codes, and any other relevant regulations.
Analyzed product failure data and laboratory test results to determine root cause of problems and develop solutions.
•Supervised the work of technologists, technicians, and other engineers.
•Provide Interpretation service between subcontractors and employer during weekly meetings onsite if needed.
•Evaluated technical specifications and economic factors relating to process or product design objectives.
•Conducted or supervised tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure their quality.
•Reviewed new product plans in order to make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives, such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost.
