As an Assistant Manager my role is to work with the Store Manager to achieve objectives, ensuring the highest levels of customer service are provided by staff and that they have the skills and support required to maximize sales. I will work with a variety of different departments to maintain the effective operation of the store and will provide feedback to the store, brand and area managers around staff and products. I may also be required to deputize for the Store Manager during periods of leave.
Responsible for maximizing profitability / sales by exploiting every opportunity to drive sales. Reduce stock loss & maintain cost controls. Deliver motivation & development team members & ensure sales area complies with company regulations & procedures & reflects brand identity. ensure clear communication with Store Managers & Brand. Remain aware of local competition activity and working with Store Managers & Employees to lay out effective store & window displays within company & brand guidelines.
As a Sales Assistant, I work as an individual and as a part of a team to provide customers with a complete service and an enjoyable experience in order to maximize sales. I also ensure that the brand is represented at the required standards, I should have up-to date product knowledge and that stock loss risks are minimized.
