Specialized Technical Services (STS)

1. Recruitment and Staff Induction
•Continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process
•Maintain staff by counselling managers on candidate selection; conducting interviews, analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
•Plan and conduct new employee orientation and foster positive attitude in the company.
•Continuous monitoring and follow up on recruitment in line with plan and approved budgeted payroll expenses
•Work with department heads and managers to ensure the smooth running of the recruitment cycle
•Ensure internal pay equity is maintained when recruiting new resources.
•Develop, update, manage and monitor induction and orientation

2. Performance Management
•Help with setting smart objectives, translating strategic objectives into smaller KPI’s on department’s level.
•Administer, monitor and review annual appraisals to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the company.
• Train managers on the performance system ensuring the system is utilized properly, help with their concerns and solve technical issues.
•Manage the Performance Management cycle for the Company, moving towards less subjectivity in the evaluation process.
•Ensure compliance to Performance Management deadlines

3. Employee Engagement
• Responsible for the successful execution of the employee engagement survey
•Implement retention programs to deliver and achieve business results.


4. Automating HR functions and System
•Collaborate with HR System providers and ensure that the HR systems provide the correct functionality and give the requested reports.
•Collaborate with internal development team to automate all HR functions.
•Functional implementation for talent management system.
•Identify, initiate and implement HR automation needs for a more efficient function
•Maintain the integrity of HR data from various HR tools and systems
