Also, maintain high quality of care with cost effectiveness through integrating best evidence into practice, and process improvement, optimize resources utilization, and maximize the efficiency of the healthcare system.
Experience with EPIC, 3M systems that ensure medical necessity and reduce denials. Through continue assessment of resource utilization, delays in care, avoidable days, average length of stay & extended length of stay (hospital-wide), and readmission of patients, validate medical necessity (Interqual®, criteria ) & identify who are at various stages of inappropriate admission or inappropriate utilization of services
My present position involves overseeing case management across all SEHA facilities in AD, also developing strategy to overcome challenges delaying patient discharge to facilitate early & safe discharge.
Create resources to minimize LOS, developed standardization of care to ensure high quality patient care following evidence-based practice.
