Responsible for the development and implementation of the information management tools and technology and telecommunications infrastructure and provide advice on the use of new technologies and infrastructure to enhance Mission productivity and efficiency. I was managing and providing information on management tools and technology infrastructure in medium and large Country Offices (CO). I was responsible for review of and advice on the use of new technologies that will enhance the HQ and CO’s productivity.
Manage virtual and physical servers with Windows Server 2003 - 2012 R2 and RHEL systems.
Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and server and workstation patching with SCCM.
Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations.
Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and correct hardware and software issues on servers, and workstations.
Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware upgrades, patches and reconfigurations.
Develop required reports in response to business user and management needs.
Identify, develop, implement, and maintain solutions for technical components and implemented projects including areas of: Surveillance systems, digital disease detection, eHealth, and mHealth.

Responsible for overseeing operation of existing database management systems, troubleshooting errors and creating a process plan for all the database development team. Managing the installation of new products in each area of database. Troubleshooting errors, fixing and modifying existing database as directed or needed by the management. Developing standards and guidelines for the team mates. Ensuring all the items are integrated successfully and monitoring database performance.
• Maintaining 10, 000+ entities in the DB.
• Regularly going for DB Health-check, documenting every change being made.

Installed and configure servers including RAID & 5 arrays in addition to facilitating backup & restoration using NT utility. Configured and monitoring status of printer’s utilization HP Jet admin in addition to upgrading Printer firmware and handling installation of other peripherals. Actively provided desktop, configuration and phone support for software and hardware. Carried out full installation of Cisco Routers and cabling for routers, Switches, Hubs and new workspaces.
• Spearheaded completion of two major migrations to bring systems up to date including Windows Exchange systems
• Successfully engineered a virtual private network (VPN) solution utilizing Windows 2008 Server.
• Effectively consolidated multi-domain Windows Network into a single, homogenous domain.
