• Survey, design, and review of OSP drawings. (AutoCAD).
• Supervise the project activities in all its phases including planning, installation, Commissioning, Testing and hand over.
• Performed inspection and testing of installed Corrugated Optical Ducts (COD) prior to backfill.
• Special attention to identify items of inspection that may be of serious nature, need to be reported immediately to the project manager.
• Take the lead during site visit (implementation process) and discuss the technical solution with the team.
• Responsible to check the civil work (construction & installation, conduit installation) as per Dawiyat specifications.
• Verify test results in PAT binder for accuracy and quality.
• Keeping recorded documents of all installation and testing of each system.
• Performed final inspection for perforated cable tray installation, structure cabling and backbone cabling.
• Assigning and supervising daily cable (copper/fiber) faults and cuts to the teams and making sure they are rectified within the defined timeline KPI as well as per STC standards.
• Supervise the civil works and diggings during network expansion (FTTB) and cable faults rectification and making sure all STC, municipality and safety standards are being followed.
• Supervising the fault localization and rectification of primary/secondary cables in order to keep OSP in healthy condition.
• Making all the required material (copper/fiber cables, closures, raychem etc.) and resources (Copper/fiber teams, logistics etc.) available on or before time in order to provide uninterrupted communicational services to the STC customers 24/7.
• Keeping the network (Fiber/Copper) in a healthy condition in order to offer best, competitive and high-end services to the customers.
• Conducting “Preventive Maintenance Routine” in the region to anticipate the potential network faults.
• Supervise all the preventive maintenance work/tickets (fiber/copper network) in the area.
• Assign daily and weekly tasks/tickets to the copper and fiber teams and follow up.
• Fault rectification within the allocated time in order to maintain the KPI.
• Making all the required material and resources available on or before time in order to provide uninterrupted communication services to the STC customers.

To resolve all the issues related to Access Network (Copper )plus Optical Fiber of my area by deploying my teams and all the available resources, in the mean time coordinating with other departments for the betterment of telecommunications services provided by PTCL.Also to watch and boost up the installations of Landline Connections and Broadband Services to the customers, and to cope with the issues relating to that.
