Beauticians are responsible in improving and enhancing personal appearance. They are the one who does women’s make up, fingernails
Basic Tasks:
Apply cosmetics and skin treatments to patients according to patient’s skin type.
Cut, trim and design hair.
Do manicure and pedicure to customers
Perform hair strengthening, rebonding and any hair beautification according to the customer’s desire.
Advise good products and in trend styles.
Assist the customers on their needs upon arrival on the salon.
Assuring that the customer is getting a good service

Reporting to the Spa & Salon Manager, as the Spa Supervisor you will be responsible for
ensuring that all clients receive an outstanding and memorable experience. You will be required
to ensure an effective management of the spa operations; including reservations, treatments,
and retailing. As well you will be responsible for training, supervising, retaining and motivating a
group of qualified team of professionals by achieving sales goals, business objectives and spa
profitability.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Work Performed:
Hands on leadership executing services on a full time basis (or as needed)
Supervise the esthetics/massage team; ensuring consistency of service and safety
protocols and client satisfaction on every interaction.
Provide continuous guidance through constructive feedback to colleagues for continuous
improvement
Train new staff
Communicate with spa manager to ensure smooth day to day operations; including
purchasing requirements, guest feedback and staff needs
Collaborate with Spa Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager on
revenue initiatives, service enhancements, incentive programs, marketing and brand
development
Assist in the development and motivation of the spa team to increase retail sales and
guest loyalty
Other duties as assigned
Nail technicians perform manicures and pedicures, which may include nail art, the application of artificial nails, nail repair and other specialised hand and foot treatments.
Nail technicians may perform the following tasks:
apply gel and acrylic nail enhancements and extensions
perform manicures and pedicures
use specialist tools and electrical equipment on nail enhancements
apply decorative and airbrushed nail art
maintain safe work practices and hygiene standards
read and interpret product information to make safe and appropriate recommendations to clients
conduct financial transactions
perform reception duties (receiving bookings and arranging appointments, for example)
perform routine housekeeping duties
maintain client records
provide advice about and sell nail products
maintain knowledge of current industry standards and practices.
Working as a nail technician can be physically demanding. Repetitive activities and sitting for long periods can cause strain, while chemicals such as those used in acrylics and polish removers may pose a health risk if not used correctly. Personal protective equipment such as gloves, aprons, dust masks and safety glasses may be worn to minimise risk. Safety considerations include the welfare of both the technician and the client.
