Duties include but not limited to:
Coordinate and direct preparation of operating and capital budget as well as quarterly forecasts. Perform cost accounting. Carry out analysis of financial and non-financial key performance indicators and perform variance analysis. Support Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis. Prepares Management reports and presentations with relevant information to facilitate decision-making. Support month end and year end close process. Watch reliability of data in the ERP and participate in IT projects.
Selcted achievements include:
Implemented the practice of monthly business review with operational teams, which helped monitoring global performance of the company, and producing relevant reports delivered to senior management;
Developed a global automated manufacturing dashboard for the four plants of the company to track KPIs including: productivity, capacity, Electricity Consumption, Raw Material, labor cost, Maintenance costs, Global Production Costs, inventory, purchasing, and CAPEX;
Improved raw material waste rate by 40% through leading coordination reinforcement between warehouse and manufacturing services and cork packaging improvement demands to suppliers;
Introduced spend threshold system in purchasing workflow;
Improved cost accounting data: assets allocation, relevant distribution keys, resulting in improving standard costs accuracy;
Led IT solutions implementation: Oracle JDE Manufacturing, Costing and Plant Maintenance Management modules; Qlickview BI;

Co-lead the annual budget and rolling forecasts process of the branch (OPEX and CAPEX). Collect and study data to determine costs of cost centers. Analyze budget variations and set realistic action plan for cost reduction objectives. Coordinate the Activity Monthly Business Review meeting and prepare monthly activity report. Analyze Company SOP’s and suggests improvements.
Selected achievements include:
Performed feasibility study of the mining gold in Sudan, implemented global business control system of the plant (Budgeting & Forecasting, Cost accounting, Analysis and Reporting) and trained staff for reliability of data entries;
Conducted in-depth analysis of machines Diesel Consumption and comparison with subcontractors’ ratios. Suggested and implemented actions resulting in an improvement of consumption ratio (Lt/Km) by 10%;
Created local purchasing unit in silver subsidiary in charge of satisfying urgent needs of the mine and thus helping maintain the productivity of the mine while ensuring respect of central purchasing direction procedures;
Standardized Reporting procedures within the 4 mines of the Precious Metals Branch;
Auditing firm, member of UHY International network, one of the leading auditing firms in the north region of Morocco.

The course contained the following topics: - Margin Analysis; - Investment and assets analysis; - Financing; - Return On Capital Employed (ROCE) and Return On Equity (ROE)
- A MEPI (Middle East Partnership Initiative) Leadership Program organised by the state department of USA. It gathers social young activists to share their experience about civil engagement in their societies and how they made changes via social projects. I had the honour of being one of the five members team that represented Morocco in this program.
