Job Purpose
Manages all Direct Sales activities related to the designated Sector and supplying thevarious Public and Commercial Institutions/Companies/Ventures, ensuring Team’sability to accomplish functional objectives, and developing and adapting the Bank’sP&S towards excellence.
Strategy
•Collaborates with concerned parties towards setting Division long and short term goals ensuring compliance
•Cascades down Divisional strategy to employees ensuring individual alignment with Divisional goals, operations objectives, and quality standards.

Budgeting and Financial Management
•Collaborates with Executive Leadership towards estimating annual Divisional Budget
•Ensures Division’s compliance with set Budget, seeking resolution of any variance to ensure effective cost controls.
•Reviews all financial reports and other performance data to determine areas needing cost reduction and/or process improvement

Operational Duties
•Coordinates, supervises and reports to Head of Department on all activities related to Staff and promotional event sales
•Develops and maintains database of all Oil Government, Public, and Private Institutions and related Agencies and Companies in Kuwait, establishing relationships with key contact people in each through visits so as to tailor BankProducts and Services for each and establish partnerships
•Dedicates various Sales Agents to each Agency and oversees their Call Reports and overall strategy
•Prepares individual and Team Strategy and Action Plans for effective search of sales leads, prospects & penetration of new markets
•Works one on one with each Agent to help with creative ideas and develop tailor made Bank P&S for each Agency, if possible
•Steps in to support on various deals to help broker partnerships with the Bank
•Coordinates the day to day functioning & sales results of each Team member, holding weekly meetings to assign work and receive updates, and cross checking to ensure the Team meets or exceeds all activity standards for scouting out new prospects
•Monitors each Team member’s work and familiarity with Bank P&S and ensures they have the necessary training and knowledge to effectively carry out daily routine work
•Suggests marketing tools to support Sales Officers’ performance and new sales tactics with reference to a particular location which can enhance business acquisition or service level
•Develops a Business and Marketing Plan and Sales Strategy that ensures attainment of set sales goals and profitability for approval by GM-RBD
•Monitors market changes & competitor activities, adapting Bank P&S to attract new customers & be in par with competition in order to foster new sales approach
•Ensures that set volume increase targets are met and surpassed so that Bank’s Direct Sales Unit is established as the leader in the market
•Ad hoc projects to support Executive Management's decision
•Sees to any additional request made by Division Head or Executive
•Ensures that Sales officers are adhering to the bank’s policies & Procedures
•Ensures that the sales officers are Complying with Customer Protection Guide in line with Central Bank mandates

People Management
•Determines staffing needs and requirements
•Liaises with HR towards fulfilling the recruitment needs of the Division
