Logistics and Supply
• Responsible Purchasing and logistics budgeting.
• Responsible for AKDN building maintenance ( lift, generators, regulators electricity, building rehabilitation ).
• Following up all the shipments documentation, insurance, dispatching, clearing, receiving, quality, storage and final report ( Land, Sea And Air Shipments ) .
• Responsible for purchasing process starting from Purchase request, RFQ and collecting offers till issuing and signing the final contracts or PO and receiving the ordered goods or service.
• Responsible for issue negotiating the contract conditions and following up to apply all this conditions on board.
• Responsible for fleet management ( records, maintenance, log sheets, driver and vehicles files).
• Responsible for building utilities.
• Responsible for office inventory management.
• Following up all our documentation with government sectors MOFA ( Renewing Vehicles Card And Visa with Migration and passport office).
• Updating and applying AKDN Purchasing and Assets policy.
• Responsible for assets management and tracking (Maintenance and recording, transfers, Numbering and categorizing for around 1000 assets item ).
• Managing the logistics staff ( persons ) and department.

The IRC ( Syria Program ) is carrying out an education program for 10, 000 Iraqi refugees and vulnerable Syrian children in the capital Damascus. Also We rebuilt and renovate some schools to help accommodate more Iraqi children and offer catch-up education classes for refugee children who have fallen behind due to the different curriculum; we also provide accelerated learning classes for children who are unable to attend school, to help with their return and transition into formal schooling.
• Monitoring and managing the Construction work and the rehabilitation of 10 schools in Damascus, which related to tendering process and Building materials procurement in addition to inventory Management .
• Responsible Purchasing and logistics planning.
• Following up all the shipments documentation, insurance, dispatching, clearing, receiving, quality and final report ( Land, Sea And Air Shipments ) .
• Negotiate and establish all the contracts with the new vendors , shipping company and the clearing agents .
• Responsible for Building maintenance and utilities ( Lift, Generator, electricity, water and All kind of assets.
• Responsible for the process of selecting authorized and contracted suppliers.
• Responsible for tender's process From A-Z.
• Follow up all IRC regulation and procedures which related to the logistics, Assets and procurement process
• Responsible for all kinds of procurements internally and externally.
• Fleet management.
• Monthly Counting for Assets and Inventory.
• Assets management including Recording, Counting, Numbering, Categorizing, technical situation, Place and costing and depreciation .
• Following up with all international staff visas and travailing.

Responsible for demand forecasting, demand planning & transport planning
• Evaluate the vendors & the price offers to choose the best one who can provide us with the best quality and the lowest Prices.
•Coordinate with sales department for on time delivery and orders follow up.
•Responsible for Fleets and Assets Management Including Recording, Tag Numbering, Categorizing, Cost, Transfers and counting .
• Responsible for settling up all the vendors accounts & due payments.
• Following up all the shipments documentation, insurance, dispatching, clearing, receiving, quality and final report ( Land, Sea And Air Shipments ) .
• Negotiate and establish all the contracts with the shipping company and the clearing agents .
• Responsible for Importing about 2000 shipment a year from ( Jordan, Lebanon, KSA, Egypt).
• Setting and controlling logistics budget.
• Responsible for designing the warehouse layouts .
• Setting and controlling warehouses procedures to monitor all warehouse movements, warehouse keeping, warehouse safety.
• Responsible for training system for the warehouse staff (FEFO system, safety, handling, stacking, receiving and dispatching)
• Responsible for weekly, monthly reports which related to our orders and shipments from ( Jordan, Ksa, Lebanon And Egypt ).
• Responsible for dispatching system and procedure for Coca Cola distributors in Syria (documentation & Operation) to insure deliveries with the Best quality, lowest cost and (on Time Delivery) .
• Direct reporting to the general manager.
• Very good in customs clearance procedures and regulations.
• Following up our claims with Our Suppliers due to Damages or Shipment Shortages.
•Responsible for calculating the landed cost for each shipment.
•Monitoring inventory management and purchasing on SAP& BASIS system .
•Checking inventory Level on daily basis , weekly & monthly inventory reports.
• Maintain the right inventory level in each region .
• Responsible for checking and confirming stock transfers between locations and posting it.
• Responsible for monthly and annual stock taking process for the shop, warehouse and box.
• Responsible for Inventory Mangement for 63000 Item (Most Of Them International Brands) .
• Responsible for the stock adjustment between locations.
• Preparing disposed and damaged goods reports and posting it to the journal.
• Preparing the stock in trade balance at the end of the year.
• Checking each shipment to determine its financial documents and its profit.
• Responsible for preparing and issuing credit and debit note (internal, external)
• Checking and corresponding our statement of accounts with other DANZAS agents in the world to settle up our mutual accounts.
• Responsible for invoicing system.
• Preparing and issuing payment vouchers, collection vouchers, expense report and advanced payment voucher.
• Settle up our advanced payment voucher & estimated expense reports .
• Asking our customers to pay their due accounts.
• Managing and directing Retail and wholesales activities.
• Responsible for Invoicing and pricing system.
• Dealing and negotiating with VIP customer such as international schools and private institutes (example: The British council and the American Language centre).
