Monitor and control 400/220/132/33/11 KV substations and associated Transmission and Distribution networks by SCADA, following alarms and trippings, fault restoration, switching operation for maintenance programs, Issuing safety documents for carrying out work, fault analysis and fault reports, active and reactive power control, system frequency control, perform load shedding in pre arranged priority, co-ordinate with major industrial consumers for their load demands and import if necessary, co-ordinates with other sections of the department for works, Maintaining the log records regarding the day to day activities. inform management about important events and abnormalities.carry out whatever necessary actions to ensure stability of the system
Monitor and control 132/33/11 KV substations and associated Transmission and Distribution networks by SCADA, following alarms and trippings, Restoration of supply in the event of interruption in the HV network in both radial and ring network, switching operation for maintenance programs, fault analysis and fault reports, active and reactive power control, perform load shedding in pre arranged priority, Maintaining the log records regarding the day to day activities.Load flow analysis in the Distribution network.carry out whatever necessary actions to ensure stability of the system.
Operation & Maintenance of 12.5 MVA
Transformers (PAUWELS Canada), 16 MVA transformers (TELK India), 11K.V, 33 KV, 110 KV out going feeders, Protection Devices (GEC Alsthom), SF6 Breakers, VCB’s, Isolators, Issuing Work Permits and general safety precautions.
Operation & maintenance of AC/DC motors,
Starters, compressors, Generators, Transformers, Speed control devices in the event of electrical break down & routine preventive maintenance work with ISO 9002 standard
Erection and testing of 16MW Generator(BHEL, India) transformer (TELK India), isolators, breakers, panel boards, relays etc of Hydro electric generating station, Poringalkuthu left bank extension scheme (P.L.B.E)
Monitoring The Operation and Maintenance of Six Generators of 130 MW Capacity Each, Static Excitors, 144 MVA Transformers, SF6 Breakers, ABCB’s, VCB’s, 220KV Switchyard Maintenance, Servo Motors, Governers, Turbines and Protection Devices etc. of Indian-Canada Hydro Electric Project
