For Mobily Project:
• Taking care of the database implementation, maintenance, planning and working closely with the project management team to achieve the customer’s deliverables.
• Currently participating in the implementation of Pre-production environment & CRM HA environment.
• Identify, develop and execute an individual development plan with minimal management direction.
• Participate in process planning and make recommendations for improvements to the business.
• Act as a mentor in assisting less experienced engineers in isolating problems, workarounds and solutions.
• Provide training by writing and/or delivering Brown Bags and Technical Courses.
• Champion initiatives and be an advocate for support.
• Participate in team meetings and encourage knowledge sharing.
• Act as a process/technical point of contact for your product/competency area.
• Conduct Technical interviews for potential candidates.
• Network across competencies, with management & senior resources to gain visibility within the organization.
• Act as a technical lead when in communication with external customer(s), service delivery managers, 3rdparty vendors and managers.
• Manage all severity and escalated issues within guidelines; Accountable in representing customer expectations and engaging proper internal resources.
• Proactive in identifying customer needs and facilitates engagement of internal resources to ensure customer success.
• Consult with management in directing resolution of critical customer situations, including alerts to management on potential escalations.
• Engage with development as appropriate to review customer bug priorities.
• Engage in activities designed to minimize duplicate and false bugs passed to development.
• Create/modify/review knowledge content to include consultative articles.
• Participate in Beta programs and product/platform testing.
• Participate in product management and product readiness initiatives.
• Perform system administration and maintenance on support workstations.
• Participate in appointed Knowledge Management initiatives.
• Participate in additional projects as required.
• Install, Clone, Patch, configure and maintain production, Test & Development Instances of Apps 11i & R12 and DB on multiple platforms like Microsoft Windows, OpenVMS, and RedHat Linux Enterprise.
• Plan for Backup, Recovery & DR Plans and implementing the Data Guard technology.
• S/W Installation, DB Upgrade, Database Creation & Upgrading and Patching.
• Install & Configure and Maintaining Oracle RAC Environments and Data Guard implementations.
• Installation & configuration of production, Test & Development Instances of Apps 11i.
• Maintenance of Apps 11i.
• Applying DB & Apps patches & Administration.
• Planning for Backup & DR Plans.
• Apps Cloning.
• S/W Installation& DB related Tasks.
• Oracle Version: Oracle RDB, 7.2, 8i, 9i, 10g and 11g on multiple platforms like Microsoft Windows, OpenVMS, and RedHat Linux Enterprise.
• Planning for Disaster Recovery plans, Daily Backup and Recovery.
• Installation, Cloning, and maintaining Apps
• Tuning DB and Application.
• Providing a remote support to the oracle applications 11i.
• Managing SRs on the MetaLink.
