Being a project engineer, I am responsible for planning, scheduling, & ensuring of successful outcome of project utilizing the assigned teams, as well as standards, and toolsets with responsibilities including:
• Preparation of BOMs, ordering specifications / procurement requirements related to static & rotating equipment. Coordinate entire process from requisition till material receipt at site.
• Develop ITB / project scope document for construction / EPC contractors and conduct technical bid analysis.
• Review vendor documents, engineering documents, as-builts, GA drawings etc.
• Preparation of OPEX and CAPEX budget keeping in view expected maintenance and any modification or new installations.
• Planning of all upcoming and monthly PM jobs including equipment running hours logging & record keeping in SAP.
• Review the Annual Turnarounds schedule, and coordinate and monitor the assigned project’s progress, and challenge below par performance of the contractor.
• Maintaining an inventory system for relevant spare parts of all machines by coordinating with Supply Chain department and adjusting the maximum/minimum levels.
• Technical evaluation of quotations received against RFQs.
• Practical knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, AWS, & other engineering codes & standards related to Process Industry.
• Develop and prepare contracting plan for solicitation, evaluation, and award of contract for procurement, and construction.
• Review and resolve day to day contractors’ claims and complaints related to the assigned project (mechanical) work during construction and ensure HSE compliance.
• Use of company systems and tools, e.g., SAP, TEJARI (for bidding process), and IHS Struxure.
• Proficient at Co-ordinating procurement involving vendor estimation, tendering, contract negotiations & finalization of goods purchase.
MAJOR PROJECTS
• Effectively managed 3 Annual Turnarounds (2019-2021) with coordination with maintenance section. Did additions/deletions & sets priorities on all jobs according to type of shutdown and operational requirements and successfully reduced downtime by 50%.
• Efficiently lead team for Construction of Adhi-29 well tie-in of ~4.5 KM line, Adhi-26 & 27 Wells tie-in of ~11.2KM line, and Adhi-42 well tie-in of ~0.47 KM line.
• Preparation of BOM of around 14, 000 items for 1300 assets & their linking in SAP.
Topped 2 semester during degree program. I was also Vice President of Society of Automotive Engineering.
