•Review and enhance existing Environmental sustainability strategy, offerings, processes, and frameworks and form a comprehensive Environment & Social Management System (ESMS), formats, and checklists to measure and track various ESG parameters. • Develop HSE awareness and integrate Sustainability practices amongst People and Processes. • Responsible for managing ESG & HSE teams and continuing to strengthen institutional capability across the company to elevate sustainability and HSE performance among investors and other stakeholders. • Support teams to gain their ESG/sustainability knowledge and skills, through department specific regular training and sharing of best practices. • Evaluating waste management options and apply a waste hierarchy model in order to reduce, reuse, recycle, recover, and dispose of waste material • Coordinating with supervisors/managers to ensure Risk Assessments, Safety Inspections and Accident Investigations • Created presentations, ESG tear sheets, and reports for clients in the healthcare, real estate, energy, and retail sectors • Performed peer benchmarking and gap analysis for clients with recommendations to improve their ESG scores/rating and performance using the Bloomberg terminal, corporate financial documents, proxy statements, and sustainability reports.
1. To check or to do initial screening of application of consents/ authorization of construction projects, industries, hospitals etc. under the provision of Water Act 1974, Air Act 1981 and the rules notified under the provision of Environment Protection Act, 1986, on subsequent confirmation of requisite documents to be submitted by the Project Proponent.
2. Water Sampling & Analysis of Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) in Delhi along with Wastewater Sampling & Analysis of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs).
3. To do inspection of various units (Malls, Hotels, Restaurants, Industries etc) to check their safety measures and environmental factors.
4. In charge of control room of public grievances redressal cell of DPCC.
5. To ensure whether units are following rules and regulations defined by CPCB
6. Preparation of various office documents related to Bio-Medical Waste Management like Drafts, notes and notices.
7. To inspect and check all the hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facilities’ in Delhi.
8. To write technical report for Citizen Charter, Board Meeting in DPCC.
Project Environment Health & Safety Manager responsible for supporting the coordination and implementation of the Environment management system. Functions in support role to the lead HSE professional at the designated project or office location
? Competent professional experience in positions of increasing responsibility in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance and management systems implementation
? Preparation and submission of returns/applications as required under Environment / Safety legislations.
? Take personal ownership and responsibility for protecting people from harm, and for developing strategies that drive performance and support continuous improvement; Support implementing HSE Absolutes in coordination with management.
? Assist in providing the necessary HSE services relative to the working location. Support staffing needs; and developing HSE staff for growth opportunities;
? Implement HSE policies and procedures; Support developing, implementing, and revising a site-specific HSE plan (e.g. HASAP); include facility siting requirements;
? Monitor compliance to HSE standards; include monitoring client HSE requirements; conduct scheduled field visits and inspections; recommend and follow through on corrective actions.
? Audit the site HSE management system to determine compliance levels; participate in SER’s (Site HSE Reviews) and other site-related audits.
? Support site-specific HSE training requirements;
Analyze statistical data, inspection reports and compliance survey results; track and trend results; make recommendations and recognize achievements;
? Assist in the investigation of incidents for root cause identification and preventive action;
? Monitoring of permit to work system conditions & advisory of adherence within prescribed safety standards
? Monitor the procurement needs and the training requirements for personal protective equipments;
1. Having 2+ years of professional experience in conducting Environmental Impact Assessment & preparing Environment Management Plan for several projects in various sectors (Hospitals and Educational Institutes, Hotels, Residential & Industrial Complexes). Implementation of Environmental Impact Studies on construction sites and preparing Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for various facilities. Conducting Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Audits and Compliance Assessment Audits.
2. Specialties: Report Writing, Public Consultation, Public Hearing, Presentation, Report Review, Client Liaising, Team Management & Coordination, Project Management.
3. Preparation of Conceptual Plans for Projects
4. Baseline data interpretation and formulating environmental monitoring plan, waste management plan.
