Valley Trade is one of the important steps in my career because I developed the ERP system implemented and running live in Valley Trade. although it passed long time, since I worked directly with the code development (System & business analyze, Work Flow, development, Testing, Trouble shooting) but it was a nice challenge for me, and I can say it was a real pleasure working again in the core process of the development.

My roles are set to cover the following points:
• Direct manager for the running business in Valley Trade.
• Working with the company owners to analyze the business process in the company to create a system to manage their business.
• Develop the needed software and the IT infra structure \ Hardware in the company.
• Manage and follow with the working departments in the company (Accountant, warehouse, Sales).
• Develop the needed applications to fit the needs of the company.
• Participate in the interview process for hiring the new employees.
• Create the network and the computer system for the company.
• Create a future plans for fit the expected extending in the business.

Moving to work with Gargour Technologies Co, was a new step to another technical challenge in my technical career. The decision to move to Gargour Technologies Co.; was seen as a proven for my accumulated experiences in the technical and the managerial fields.
Gargour Technologies Co, is a leading company in Egypt. It’s the main provider for the Pricing machines, and some other applications based on the Laser technology.
As a part of my new roles to start a pioneer printing projects based on the 3D technology, in addition, creating and handling the IT direction in the company to move toward the new applications in the IT World.
My roles are set to cover the following points:

• Working with the company holders to set the IT strategy to server the company’s goals and business.
• Create the needed plans for implementing the latest technology in the company management
• Doing the needed researches for obtaining the 3D printing technology for utilize it as a new business in the Co.
• Develop some applications to fit the needs of the company.
• Creating and implement new plans for the Backups and for securing the data & information.
• Supervise the technical activities & Services in the Co (DVRs, CAM, Phone Central, Connection Lines, etc…)
• Create an affective IT department, and high skilled IT team.

Plant Manager & IT Manager (MIS Manager) at SpiceKingdom

Spice-Kingdom is one of the four biggest and important factories working in the spices worldwide and its factories are equipped with the latest technology and control systems. The decision to move to Spice-Kingdom was seen as a proven for my technical experiences and my managerial capabilities for the direct benefit of this international organization, at the same time allowing me to guide the technology development role under my direct management responsibilities. I can summarize my role involvement in the following points:

• • Working with the company holders to put the main plan for implementing the latest technology in the company management.
• Providing direct administrative support to the Factory Manager on a wide range of issues relating to the development of KPI’s for all departments and the introduction & implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices throughout the factory - to not only improve the production but to support improved staff performance and higher quality standards required dictated by the nature and position of Spicekingdom as a major international player in the field of spices and herbs.
• Assist the factory manager to keep the stability of the workflow (MS Project), overseeing all daily operations & solve the work problems between the different departments.
• Leading technical R&D in the company for offering the best solutions to help the company and the departments to achieve their goals.
• Full understanding for the production plans in the factory and work with the factory manager to enhance by using 2 parallel ways:
o Follow the modern methods in managing the production lines
(Lean Production - TPS and JIT).
o Provide the technical solutions through the IT department (see the developed solutions below).
• Wrote all the plans for IT in the factories - covering the Servers, Networking, Backups, Security, disaster plans, updates, etc…
• Manage the IT team to provide the technical support for the Servers, Software/Hardware in the company, and implementing the needed updates for all the servers.
• Implement the Virtualization, to create virtual servers (VM) and increase the running servers in our environment.
• Successfully created a parallel virtual environment for the emergency management control.
• Implement the ERP system in all the departments and ensure the stability of the workflow on this system.
• Developed a software system for requesting the IT maintenance (developed in VB).
• Developed addition screens on the ERP system (developed in VB and MS-SQL).
• Developed a limited version of PLM system - (Production Life Cycle - developed in VBA).
• Developed a data-bank system with some functions of CRM (developed in VB and MS Access DB).
• Overseeing, monitoring and maintain the workflow, in the different departments, such as the Planning, Logistics, Warehousing using the latest software, Hardware and business solutions applied in the factory.
• Analyzed and evaluated software tools used in all the department and created a White-list showing all the software that can be installed in our work environment.
• Analyzed and evaluated technical tools, made decisions, and procurement requests to purchase new equipment when deemed necessary. Also provided equipment and license audits to evaluate technical renew/refresh plans to tie into procurement cycles.
• Sending a Report Status on a monthly basis, for delivering the accomplished tasks as per our plan, and the achievements.

Managing the Arabic Dev Team at Microsoft (Middle East)

• Manage the web portal 'Office Online' Arabic site (layout and content).
• Work directly with many customers & partners to develop contents for the online site.
• Expert in using Microsoft internal tools: ‘ECM’ and ‘COD’ in programming the web pages of the Arabic Office Online site (http://office.microsoft.com/Arabic).
• Filtering the geopolitical issues and Offensive materials, to ensure selecting suitable materials for the Arabic region.
• Create specific and detailed reports about traffic per countries, user’s trends, site usage, hits, etc… which is distributed to the Arabic subsidiaries marketing contacts.
• External wide promotion and awareness for the Arabic offline/online website of Microsoft Office, through lectures in the Egyptian TV and articles in two major Computer magazines.
• Working with the Local Community Affairs in Microsoft Egypt to create Online Curriculum for 2007 Office System, based on Office online Arabic localized contents.
(I received two awards from ‘Microsoft Community Affairs’ due to my efforts in their projects).

• Contact beta testers around the Arabic region, and we were logging bugs, gathering feedback and working with Arabic Subs.

• Creating the Official Launch of Windows ME in Egypt.


• Localization Manager

• Managing localization projects for Microsoft Dynamics
o Full localization project for CRM 1.2 (with Microsoft US team).
o Releasing all the CRM Updates for the Arabic localized version of CRM.
o Providing a direct support to the support team in MS M.E. and helping the Arabic partners in M.E. to solve their technical problems related to the Arabic support.
o Creating technical documentations (KB articles, Whitepapers, Guide Lines, etc…) to provide the needed support and the references for the new localized CRM version.
o Evaluating the Arabic support in Axapta.
o Participating in the Arabic localization plan of CRM 3.0
• Managing the localization project for Class Server ver. 1.0 to Arabic.
